The Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer

I liked tonight's episode. My GF is funny with how she feels about the characters though. She thinks Andrea and Rick's Wife should both just be shot for being stupid.

I was surprised they just had Daryle shrug off being shot with a "Dont let it happen again" sort of attitude.

Rick should of been stooge slapped for letting his kid be trained by Shane when he did though. Yeah, the kid needs to know how to soot but he JUST stole a pistol and lied to his Mom. Lets reward him and follow it up with a "He wont let you down" comment to Mom. Hey, he just did let her down, why would now be any different?

Yeah, guys always gotta be right even when he's wrong.

Anyways. Yet another drag out episode. It's kinda getting old although to see Shane get all psycho like on Dale was pretty awesome.

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

If you think that was a 'drag out episode' then you should just stop watching. You haven't a clue what you're talking about. You should just stop watching television because apparently you know how everything should be made and will never be satisfied until you're writing, directing and producing TV yourself. Oh yeah, which will NEVER happen so you have to just **** on everything.

SO MANY THINGS HAPPENED IN THIS EPISODE!!!

Glenn spilled the news regarding Walkers in the barn and Lori being pregnant.

Hershel and Dale are now facing the information coming out about the walkers in the barn.

Rick discovered that Lori was pregnant and acknowledged the relationship that she and Shane had.

And Andrea became the woman we know from the comics! She ****ed those walkers up once she got past her hesitation and fear. THAT'S the Andrea I've been waiting for. She's gone from being victim to survivor and she's not going to go back!

And Shane came within a hair's breadth of killing Dale, and certainly threatened to do so!

Yeah, so making sure he doesn't know how to handle a gun will definitely be punishment enough when a walker rips his throat out.

You do realize they don't live in the same world with the same concerns we have right? Keeping him ignorant of guns would have been criminally stupid when it comes to survival.

I'd hardly call any comments I make "****ting on everything"

Also it's not my fault that I'm not as easily amused as you. You must find coloring books fascinating ;)

:lol Coming from your review of "Immortals," I'll take my ability to rate entertainment over yours any day.

You'd rather have a little kid who has just shown he can't be trusted by lying and stealing be given the responsibility of a gun? When the zombies come you can be in charge of handling the kids and let all those little hoodlums be your backup.

Anyways...

Big episode tonight as many things were moved along and finally brought out in the open. I was glad to see Rick not flip out about Shane sleeping with his wife as he understood the situation it happened in. I'm looking forward to next weeks mid-season finale.

Why not? They're willing to let a woman who can't follow orders and who shot a member of the group have a gun.

I just want the barn to finally play a part. Thankfully it looks like next weeks episode. I'm hoping moo's little spoiler doesn't get confirmed.

Did I hear right that they mentioned Lacey was in the barn?

Blame the writers on that. It should have never happened and was completely unlike the character established in the comics. Now we're seeing her the way we should.

Well the good thing about this season 2 is I don't have to buy it when it comes out on video. It was horrible enough just watching it while it aired live.
Heck if the other seasons are as interesting as this one I guess I'm going to save my self a boat load of money :)

I thought it was overall a big improvement over the last few episodes. Hopefully we get a good payoff with Shane's death lol.

I have issues with this as well. If I was in charge she wouldn't of touched a gun for many moons and I would of discussed sending her packing as well. She is a danger to the group in more ways than one.

Darryl kinda shocked me with how he acted towards her in the tent. I was honestly expecting him to deck her or something along those lines.

Wow.. they did that after going through a training course? Imagine that.

You missed the part where he said "basic training". My ex did the same thing. Never fired a real rifle and then basic training with an M4 and she hit everything everytime.

Back to the actual subject, im wondering why the CDC hasnt been brought up in depth to farmer John about his family of zombies in the barn. At this point its just set farmer John up to be knocked off by anyone. Mind as well put a target within twenty feet of the guy and enter the explosive sniper rifle code into the cell phone.
Am I the only one that, at least for a second, thought "brokeback" when motorhome man and farmer John were having a moment?

And now my episode gripe,
Why park the product placement Hyundai down the street from the house they entered, calling out loud for the girl, yet went deeper into the house of darkness only to come out and into the open garage and into a mass amount of zombies that, for the sake of further argument, ill call them ninja zombies and end that there.
Figure they would know enough by now to enter a neighborhood with a bullhorn inside of a truck then yell little girl lost in close quarters of darkness.

One thing this show nailed is chicks is crazy, never know what they want and seem to always end up exposing the truth at the worst of times. At the end I was wondering if wifey had anything else to confess short of "I was born a man" to further bury Rick.

I enjoyed the episode better than the others. I am surprised about how Rick took the news but to be honest with the whole end of the world thing I guess it is a **** happens type of deal.

I still don't understand the whole zombies don't come to the farm thing. Maybe they have a no soliciting sign? There has been a lot of traffic and commotion going on around there to attract groups like that huge hoard on the freeway. They are not that far away from it right? Or maybe I am used to a smarter zombie.

I know the story is about survival and not Armageddon I have a personal preference to ditch so much of the drama. I also have never read the comics.

Im under the assumption, yet I doubt the writers are, that the zombies have pre encoded logistics in that they return to the place that when human, they felt most comfortable at or knew best. I always thought it would be a great zombie comedy to follow some street hoods in Hollywood after the zombiepacolypse where they raid porn shops, strip clubs and crash pads. The zombies they would encounter would be hilarious.

The walkers don't perform a grid by grid search looking for people, they have at best some vague memories of life. The walkers are likely to stick to what they recall, the cities or roads, and aren't just going to search every square mile of wilderness. If the group were on his farm at the house and firing off a lot of rounds, then yeah, walkers would probably head in that direction. Of course, walkers are dumb as ****, and when they reach the fence on the farm unless there is something within view that is edible, it's not as likely to try to climb or get through the fence.

So basic training. As opposed to untrained? No, I didn't miss anything there.

Basic training doesn't mean 3 months of shooting a rifle. One week was dedicated to rifle training and we only got 2 days of shooting of which I shot a grand total of maybe 150 rounds. They only reason they "teach" and I use the term lightly to shoot is so that in the event of a **** hit the fan scenario, anyone can use a rifle.

Most people never touch a rifle again in their careers.
