The Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer

Good to see Rick's character developing around the environment.

Lol kinda like watching pro wrestling when you can see the good guy starting to turn bad or vice versa.

You can see and sense the building up of the character that's going to lead to some kind of showdown or turning point.
The look on his face in the tent after what his wife told him and what he said before that was great.

The first thirty minutes...awesome. Not a bad episode at all. I still want the Carl/Shane comic book ending.

I'm having major doubts that they're even gonna have a prison in the show. AMC are total sticklers on the budget, if they have a prison I bet it's gonna be total CGI and I doubt there will be many exterior shots.

I was thinking the same thing last night. Taking that guy back to the farm with the hurt leg and intending to let him go when he's better strikes me as so similar to comic plot of the governor sending that guy with them to report on the location of the prison that I thinking they are combining and condensing plot lines from the novel.

I am so hoping that I'm wrong about that though.

There were more trailers on yesterday afternnoon and Rick was pulling a zombie on top of him as others were coming out of a brick building.

Another trailer showed Rick with his arm drawn back and turn his head as zombies came out of the building.

This is just a guess of what I think may happen this episode putting together all the trailers:

Rick and Shane get into an arguement, Rick takes a swing at Shane after Shane says he can't protect the group.
Rick gets a headbutt for his trouble.
They scrap some more until Rick gets the upper hand and has Shane down for the count.
Zombies come out of the building and suprise them, Rick pulls a zombie on top of him, Shane runs.

That may be all crap and also I think too much lol

Someone brought this up on another forum, and I happen to like the idea. T-dog should have a catch phrase line that he says every episode. What a wasted character, he's said what a line an episode if that? Might as well make it entertaining. He could provide some comic relief...lol.

Well, if how "well" they devoloped Sophia is any indication, I don't think he's got much longer to live either. I just hope they don't spend half a season looking for him in the woods.

Anyone notice the huge continuity blooper this week?

When Rick blew away the bad guys in the bar last week, it was bright sunlight outside.

This week they picked up from moments afterwards, and it's fully dark outside.

Probably the best episode this season though, even with the lengthy reminiscing scene about the sick chick who I don't think has spoken a single line of note in the series. They did check her for bites, right?

That would just be too dumb....

He was supposedly going to write an episode. Sadly that went out the door when Darabont got the boot:cry

Aw, MAN! I wasn't in love with The Cell (King's stab at a zombie novel), but I would've loved to see what he did with an episode or two of TWD.

I was wondering about that myself. It was daylight, but then night this most recent episode. In a span of about 15 minutes you can get that, but still, it seemed a bit too fast.

Whats funny about the quick night thing is many times, mostly in pilot episodes shot on an interior location, you will have blazing daylight out and then its night sky yet the doorways and windows have artificial light illumination. The funniest one Ive ever seen was the pilot for Parker Lewis Cant Lose. Most of the interiors were shot at night or dusk due to school being in session. 90210 did this many times as well.

If they had just shot it where Rick wasn't standing over the fat dude at the beginning of the episode, it would of been fine.

I've enjoyed the restart of the season so much more than the entire first half already. Like everyone I got bored with the Sophia storyline after an episode or two so when it kept dragging on my interest waned. So far they haven't bogged themselves down with a single overarching plot (yet) and the drama is getting good!

I also agree with T-dog being a totally wasted character. They gave him some love in season 1 but since then he's really faded into the background. He gets his one line an episode and some screen time carrying a corpse or two. Such a waste. I'm hoping next week we see a death in the group which should free up some room to squeeze in a t-dog tale or two per episode!

Wow, I can't believe someone mentioned that show! One of my best buds and I still joke about that show, and everyone else watches us cracking up and has no idea what we're talking about lol.
