That would be perfectly fine. A vector would be even better.Maybe just a file download for people to print onto an iron-on sheet themselves? I heard the Dirtbike liner image is screen printed on anyways.

I did make this one for fun. I call it “Marty McFootball”Would be very tempting to do some kind of BTTF characters in the same style of drawing as a liner easter egg...
TheNickFox Have you ever come across this photo in any of your magazines by chance? The community could really benefit from a higher quality scan of this image! It’s literally just a stack of magazines under my bed haha and I haven’t reached out to the photographer’s widow to possibly see more because I know her and want to respect her (especially since the anniversary of his passing just happened).
Most of the magazines have literally nothing to do with the jacket. I buy them in the hopes of finding a new pic, but rarely do.
I wish. It’s part of the same series.TheNickFox Have you ever come across this photo in any of your magazines by chance? The community could really benefit from a higher quality scan of this image!

Is it just me or, in that photo, the jacket looks super small, even for MJF? It fits him pretty well normally, but it looks tight there. Also, his hair looks strange.TheNickFox Have you ever come across this photo in any of your magazines by chance? The community could really benefit from a higher quality scan of this image!

I feel like that photo could possibly confirm the Hollywood Fabric on the back liner panel.I wish. It’s part of the same series.
I promise once it’s not so near the anniversary of his passing I’ll reach out to the photographer’s wife and ask her about how to buy pictures from that series directly.
He did a full photoshoot in multiple outfits that day. The red background is the tell. So he wasn't made up as Marty, just wearing his clothes. Is it just me or, in that photo, the jacket looks super small, even for MJF? It fits him pretty well normally, but it looks tight there. Is this shot from the open matte version of Part 2? I've always wanted to look at a 4:3 rip of the movie and see if there's more of the jacket visible.Seems like they did take the time to add some sort of liner like the 1985 version did. Not 100% sure if it’s paisley. If it is, it means they had a good amount of this fabric. Makes me wonder if they got it from something already available.
Open matte version? What do you mean.Is this shot from the open matte version of Part 2? I've always wanted to look at a 4:3 rip of the movie and see if there's more of the jacket visible.
The theatrical widescreen version of most movies is actually about half of what was actually put on film. When Marty walks by the Blast From The Past window in Part 2, you can see about the bottom of the jacket, but nothing up from that. I was wondering if a 4:3 open matte version of the film would show more of the jacket on the mannequin.Open matte version? What do you mean.
Here's a good example. Notice how much more of the top and bottom you can see in the open matte version. The theatrical widescreen version of most movies is actually about half of what was actually put on film. It's black paisley, though. Not colored. Still really close!I wish better pictures existed of this, but Kurt Kobain owned this vintage shirt that was auctioned off several years ago. Brand is Saks Fifth Avenue. View attachment 1932436View attachment 1932437
I'd bet you're right. I always thought Headgoonie put it WAY too high. Not sure if this was ever brought up, but looking at the scene where Marty puts the phone book page in his inner jacket pocket with the paisley, the pocket sits at the same level the other side Hollywood pocket does. Which is right between the 3rd and 4th snaps. View attachment 1932440View attachment 1932441
