The Sword of Gryffindor

Hello, has anyone ordered the Sword of Gryffindor from the noble collection? I know it says "permanently attached to a display" but I was wondering, can you kinda take apart the display and get the sword out? And if you do, is there a way of putting the whole thing back together.
I also found this
Sword -Harry Potter - Gryffindor Sword - Harry Potter - Movie Replicas - Heavenly Swords
I was wondering if anyone has bought it? What is the quality of the piece?

I haven't bought it yet, but plan to as the reviews are generally good. One thing to note, the wording on the blade is not engraved/etched, but printed like their Time Turner.

The sword does come off the display; on the back of the plaque, you just remove the bolts holding the mounting bar in place.

As for the other version... It's $27.99... I wouldn't expect much. :confused

Edit: Here's another thread on the forum about the Noble sword:

I don't have the sword. but its on my list. Once I get $200 I'm getting it. Theres a few more wands I want too but I want the sword more. and if they come out with them, I want the diadem and cup.

Yeah, theres hardly anything from Noble I DON'T want. For my birthday I'm bringing my friends to the exhibit in the city, and at the end of the exhibit is a store, so I'm asking them just to bring $$ instead of presents lol :)
Then I will have myself a little splurge

Luke, i've seen the two swords in person a week ago. The $27.99 one is not well done, it hasn't the "Godric Gryffindor" on it and not very detailed, really cheap...the Noble's is very perfectly done, i was really surprised! I only had the sensation that it was a bit shorter that the screen used one, but i'm not sure, maybe someone that owns it will tell us!

Thanks for the advice, as much as I REALLY hate noble, I can't help wanting everything! They just screw stuff up for no reason.

Hmm not enough money for the sword. Spend 999 dollars last week for some original screen used props. So no money this month for a replica by noble.

I've been thinking about getting the Noble sword and having the lettering laser engraved. Though I've never done anything like that, so I don't know about the practicality of it.

You're welcome Luke! I think the sword of Gryffindor is a great piece for every Harry Potter fan. Noble has also a really cool display coming with it...have you seen?
