The Supreme Crossguard

Sorry, but after examining the original photographs, not just the book, the white gap on that prong is not photoshopped. Visible from both directions, front and back view.

Esthetically, I don’t need it on a finished replica. I’m sure it wasn’t supposed to be like that, but it is a feature of that particular hilt.

Youre 1000% right.

No, not yet, sorry this is my fault. The shop required 2d prints for all of the parts and I had someone I paid working on them and well never got them. I will eventually get around finishing them but It's a ton of work.

The Dovetail seems to be visible here.

I actually did notice that myself too and just chalked it up to the same mistake being repeated by the same person editing the background out of the original photographs as I have found the front & back images on transparent backgrounds with that same gap.

There were multiple. Photos of them being assembled show at least 8 or 9 main metal bodies. The one you just posted photos of isn’t the same lightsaber. The weathering doesn’t match.

The photos I have, have the backgrounds intact, so it’s not a photoshopped element. Perhaps it could be glare on the side of the dovetail, but there isn’t any other reflection matching that angle and it’s on the front and back view of the saber, and just on that one prong.

In any case, I already said above that I didn’t want that detail on the saber. Not sure why the hostile post was necessary.

Not trying to be hostile here, my apologies if it came across that way. I realize the weathering differs, however I took these photos after production had wrapped, I cannot confirm if it is the same one. However I was told by the Disney representatives at The Last Jedi exhibit that this was in fact the main "Hero" Lightsaber Prop used by Adam Driver on set, they had two security guards posted at this particular display even when it was closed at night; www.imgur.com/gallery/kylo-ren-s-screen-used-lightsaber-prop-display-last-jedi-exhibit-t-o-Sn2hY

Was great talking with you this afternoon!

I don’t know if it’s my place to say, but Phoenix Props and Laredo Sabers are making progress. They have a lot on their plates, so I helped them with some of the CAD drawings. It’s going to be quite an impressive hilt when finished!

It really looks like it, still would like confirmation on whether the pommel engine will be reversible for TROS versions of the hilt

Definitely following this one closely as been waiting awhile but will be worth it. Especially curious about the finished details like paint and finishing options etc. Don't feel like I've ever seen a really good TROS version so that would be cool

Full body removal, no wobble and no red wire issues etc. are tempting news. I only had a genetic Kylo hilt from nexus, so the blade wobble and pulling the red wire has been a hassle to me.
