A cheap airsoft grenade launcher with ESB EE3 inspiration. This currently represents about two minutes work.
I plan to cover the lower rail with wood, drill some MPP-style holes in the front and perhaps add some piston halves to the flat area in front of the exposed part of the chamber. I'll then need to learn how to weather it.

I like it so far! I would also try to camouflage the top rail as well. That's one of the things that will scream "Modern real world gun!".

The table of blasters in the Andor finale gave me the itch again. This was supposed to be a quick build using just parts I had on-hand; I wasn't going to worry about filling every screw hole or seam. It should have been a 2 or maybe 3-day build tops and, well, thanks to paint problems it didn't work out that way, but I ended up with something I like regardless.

Body is a cheapo UK Arms Tec-9 and the barrel is a couple TCSS parts. Greebles are bits I had sitting around. It can display with or without scope; I kinda like the no scope look since it sets it apart from the Rebel blaster.

I started this project, this morning.

I am trying to stick to using the greeblies that they seemed to have in abundance during the filming of Star Wars.

I’ve still got quite a bit of greeblies to apply, as well as weathering and painting…

I have to say, putting a blaster together using the same greeblies that the studio used, but without copying a specific model they made, is a lot of fun, and likely much closer to the experience they had of just “throwing together what looked like it might go organically go together”.

Yep—I exclusively used the same greeblies that would have been found on OT blasters (save for the LEDs and LED posts…which I’m likely to remove, in any case…thst detail hasn’t set with me, yet).

How does it feel in the hand? The big "dots" on the upper part of the grips look like they'd be uncomfortable when gripping it.
