I am so pleased with how both the helmet and pack came out... I can not take credit for thre work on those... All i did was pay for the expert paint and assembly jobs. BUT these two pieces look amazing side by side. They are being displayed in my prop room on an actual 1942 Philco Console Radio. Figured it has a GREAT art deco look to it... Here are some pics...thanks WackyChimp for hosting... ENJOY.....

UPDATE... I have also posted a quick little video online.. set to music etc...just messing around with some lights and some new camera equipment.. but check it out on youtube.

Made you cry? lol I am directing a short film for a local police department...and i got some new equipment and was just trying it out.. the video is a little shaky.. but i shot it at 3 am lol...

To answer the questions.. both the helmet and pack are from Monsters in Motion.

Dang. Great stuff.

Just reminds me again,

WHY NO MORE ROCKETEER ANYTHING??

No comics, no movies, no TV or animated even.

WTF?????

Great character, great stories, is Dave Stevens on the moon or something?

Did the first movie bomb horribly? I dont think it did. Everyone seemed to say good things at the time.

Great paint job.
that looks like an Acme pack they sell to monsters in motion in fact the pack they show is the one I built up as they posted the pictures before I put the small fins on the end caps and the fan is from american science and surplus. :p
Nice Job. love that film

Fantastic looking display :thumbsup

superb paint jobs, I would never guess from just looking at them that they're not actually metal.

By far, the best Rocketeer display I have ever seen. That is the best rocket pack ever... Whoever did that paint job deserves a medal....

Dave :)

The helmet, pack, and whole set up with the vintage radio is seriously bitchin', dude. A big congrats. :thumbsup
