Anyone know where to get a Punisher Vest and the pistol props?

A buddy of mine is interested and I may make a display for them in his new crib...

Google 'vigilante vest' and you should get a hit, but I know nothing about the source. Cheaper alternative is just see if you can find something close vest wise at the local Army-Navy Surplus or in the airsoft vest product lines.

As far as the pistols. KWC made 1911-A1's in both silver and black with a compensator. You had to buy 2 of each and swap the needed silver pieces (compensator, hammer, slide release, etc) over onto the black ones. I think they've been discontuned awhile so you may have to do some searching. Only other option is to just get a pair of airsofts or resin trainer pistols and make your own compensators or maybe PM Matsuo and see if he can help.

I've been trying to do this one as well and concur on the pistols.
I don't know how far you want to go, but he has some custom trousers and Jacket too.
I haven't done the vest, but am interested in doing this, when money permits, so will be following with interest!

Being that I'm in the UK, I've been able to see the london propstore's punisher costume and have been trying to track down different parts.
Typically - I've got to ship it over from the states (you guys have all the good stuff!)
Anyway - I've found this to be the closest buckle (looking at the propstores, the exact buckle?)
http://www.strapworks.com/Side_Release_Buckle_p/msrb-n.htm
There seems to be a metal buckle attaching the thigh holster to the belt and two metal ones around the leg straps of the thigh holster, all from the same place.
As for the pistols - are you in to airsoft, as the closest I can find are:

If you look at the propstore's trousers, they have slight pattern to them (sorry I don't know if it has a proper name - ripstop?). Also, both above and below the knee pads is a strip of mesh (from what the extra's in the movie said about his costume, I'm guessing that it was to keep him cool) but it depends on how nerdy you want to get as you could hardly see any detail of the trousers in the film!

I also got a replica of the jacket on ebay - I can't find a list of rules for the board currently, so I won't post links just yet, but here's a couple of 'in progress' photos
(My main issue - need to loose a bit of weight and get into shape! )

(sorry - may need to turn up the brightness to get the detail)

Hope this is of use!

Socom gear do an almost complete punisher 1911 replica. All you need to add to make it almost movie accurate is a silver enhanced magwell and hammer spring cover and the punisher grips.

I think I've shared this before, but here's what I have tracked down over the years from various sources for those interested. These prices are rounded up and from a few years back, so they have either changed or no longer available.

Weapons: 1911A1 Blue'd Colt Gov't Models Series 70 ------------------------------------ $500
Hammers: Wilson Combat Ultralight Skeleton Hammer--------------------------- $60
Triggers: Kings/Match Grade ------------------------------------------------ $20
Ambi-Safety: Kings --------------------------------------------------------- $65
Extended Slide Stops: Kings ------------------------------------------------ $32
Sights: Lo-Mount Novak Night Sights
Magwells: Smith & Alexander/Flat Stainless Steel Govt Commander ------------ $85
Mag Releases: Stainless
Compensators: Kings full profile comp/barrel kit (ground offf front sight)
Barrels: Kings/Silver
Bored Out: .460 Rowlands - a bored-out .45 ACP
Grips: 100% stock rubber'90's vintage Colt 1991A1 grips. See the pony?
Grip Safety: Ed Brown Memory Grove beavertail grip safeties ---------------- $35
Magazine Weights: ???
Holster: The leg holster is not a Safariland 6004 but a custom Blade-Tech Tactical Thigh Holster

There are bushing compensators that mimic the look of the Kings version, but they are attached to the slide and do not stay forward of the weapon like the Kings. Not a big deal if you plan on putting these up in a case or something. I'd prefer the Kings because I like the look of it when the slide is back, BUT beggars can't be choosers when a real Kings comp goes for $500+ and you can get a bushing comp for $70 on ebay.
