Okay dude, you obviously haven't watched the extended unrated edition of AVP-R. It shows immediately after the scene where the Hybrid emerged from Scar, that the mothership is passing by Saturn and releases a scout ship that goes the other direction back towards earth. This scoutship (oh so conveniantly) had the now fully grown Hybrid onboard that attacked the Predators which led to the SCOUT SHIP crashing, not the mothership, and the deaths of A FEW Predators, not all that were seen at the end of AVP. The Elder is fine!

Speaking of Elder's (and because I didn't want to start a whole 'nother thread) the Elder would, presumably, be the clan leader,right? Then who the hell is the leader? The elder in AVP, or Wolf? I'm so confused!

The home world shot was the best part and they need to have more of it in the future movies!

Also another thought... In the first AVP there was a lot of preds on that ship! in AVP2 there were like 5... were was the elder? did that hole crew just crash and burn?! that's pretty lame if you think that one plasma cannon shot in the wrong spot took out like 50 preds... tisk tisk...

some things shouldn't be allowed to own a cannon...

wrong. i dont know if it was originally in the movie but i own an uncut movie with 7 miutes or so extra footage, so there i saw that in the beginning, the big space **** launched out the smaller scout ship.

before i saw that scene i was thinking the same thing btw.

Though my vote would go for the fact that they were supposed to give Scar a nice funeral, but they gave the task for those 2 preds, since I really cant find a point in burying a random Predator by all of the large clan members.

There were so many flaws to that movie.... I guess we could sit here all dam day and pic this movie apart. Sadly it's a Predator movie and That's why I watch it.

The Elder in AVP is the clan leader. Wolf is more like the badass mercenary clean-up guy with tons of experience fighting different kinds of aliens.

If there was some way I could affect Hollywood and fire some directors forever, one of those would be the Strause brothers. They ruined the franchise for me. I expected so much from the second movie but the just **** it up- The first one was pretty good and I enjoyed watching it, though there were some parts that annoyed me abit.
Oh if I had power in Hollywood, I would make John McTiernan do another Predator/AVP movie .
