I'm just learning the program myself. I have War Machine. I got mine from the 405th but the HAND ARMOR wasn't included. Does anyone know where to get it or if it exist?

hey guys, i recently sent a Hellboy Samaritan file from a friend who wants me to give it a try. but it's in jpeg form. my question is: how hard would it be to transfer it over to a pep file and fix the tabbing? it's about 15 pages and probably around 80 parts.

Huh? So you have the pattern in jpeg form and want to transform it back to a pep? Not possible unless you start to recreate the 3D model.

Can't be done.......You'll need to either get the original PEP fil or recreate it from scratch

that sucks. i guess i'll just have to give it my best shot with what i have. if i can figure this thing out i'll post a tutorial and pics. you think any of the guys here would be interested in a Hellboy Samaratin out of paper?

Noob question here, but I used Elmer's Glue-All Multi-Purpose Glue to put together an Iron Man helmet that I'm making. I was wondering if the fiberglass resin would eat through that when I applied it or not.

So I'm working on a fanfilm, would pepakura be a good medium to make the model ships for filming? and if so how would I go about getting someone to make me the files?

Does anyone know if the tutorials that stealth or anyone else that has does pep projects on Iron Man show step by step assembly for the helmet? I am at a tricky part and I just want to make sure i get it right so i have less corrections at the bondo sanding stage. Thanks in advance

p.s. I am currently working on the mark vi helmet

Hi everyone......
Glad to join all of you.
Sorry to just come in and start requesting something, but Ive been lurkin and waiting for a while now for a finished DungBeetle Dr Doom Mask.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

This is the only link I ever come up with:
DrDoom-by-Dung0beetle.pdo - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download
Unfortunately its not finished.
Any help or info would be awsome.
Or if anyone has something that might be suitable for converting to a Destro head, please feel free to share with me.
Thanks.....

Noob here, what should I do after pepakura ?

Hi, Im brand new to this forum and a total noob, I've never messed with resin or bondo. I decided to work on a helmet from pepkura, just finished it, Now I have no idea what to do next. Put a coat with either polyester resin or fiberglass resin then sand it to make it smooth and clean, then maybe add bondo for some adjustments. Or would it be the total opposite way ?

Hi everyone,
Glad to be here, finally....... been lurking for quite awhile, and finally need some help that the forum couldnt already give without me asking it.
So I finally joined.

Im trying to find out if DungBeetles Dr Doom pep file was ever finished.
All I can find is in this link, but it seems to be an unfinished file.

Im really interested in doing this mask, so any help would be great.
Im actually attempting to do a Destro getup, and this seems to be a great start.
Thanks alot..........

Does anyone know if resin breaks apart PVA glue?

Ive been using "Elmer's Glue-All Multi-purpose Glue" and while it dosent say PVA it looks and feels like your average white school glue. Ive found this works really well and is much less hassle to handle than super glue, but im afraid this hasent been used before for a reason.

The best way to see how its done is to watch some of the videos in the opening thread. Usually you resin the outside with a light coat, then fibreglass the inside and bondo the outside, sanding down the outside til it looks smooth and paint it.

I wouldn't recommend using any liquid based or spray adhesive if you plan on coating it in fiberglass resin. There is a higher chance of the bonds being broken during fiberglassing. I would recommend using hot glue.

Thanks milk_man, I think I've decided to go with a light coat of smooth cast, with a little bit of bondo to make some adjustments.

I use white glue (Elmer's and Aileen's Tacky Glue) almost exclusively these days and have never had problems with polyester resin attacking it.

Does anyone have pepakura file on war machines hinge setups and model of those hinges if is please could someone post it to me :)
