advice on files please folks!

hi folks, evry time i download the pep files all i get is lots of mumbled numbers and letters and no pics,i havent paid for the full designer and i have tryed the product key for my laptop but even that dosent work.is the reason it wont decode the files because the product key isnt working, what makes it worse is that i cant even buy the full designer coz i went bankrupt a couple of years ago so credit and debit cards are a no go for a bit yet,any advice would be great.thanks folks.

What is the best glue for pepakura?

What is the best glue to use on Cardstock for pepakura? superglue is not working for me

Re: What is the best glue for pepakura?

I use wood's white glue for my papercrafts it works very well.

Re: What is the best glue for pepakura?

Superglue Gel not straight super glue. Works perfect. Stealth likes to use hot glue but I've never had luck with that.

Re: What is the best glue for pepakura?

i like super glue also, but the gel is the easiest to use... or at least for me ;).

Re: What is the best glue for pepakura?

I recommend using hot glue. In my opinion its the best way to go if you're using fiberglass.

do you have the viewer ?? its the viewer that you use to construct the item and print it, the main reason to have the designer is the rescale and unfold the pep if it hasnt aslready been done, apart from that you shouldnt need the designer. and i didnt have it for about 2 months and only had the viewer and it all worked great 4 me, have no idea why it would be an issue

Thanks for all the tips guys, off to the store I go, I ran out of glue, so im on hold for now

Ok. So I've been building one of Shark's Iron Man helm's this is my first attempt. I've read though some of the threads here and watched a few Tutorials on you Tube.

I've seemed to have missed one minor detail....How do you get you head in it? :confused Do you keep the chin piece on a henge? I believe I can work with magnets to get that to work out for me.

However in most of the Pics and Vids it looks like the chin and helm is all one piece. Any help is much appreciated.

Pest.

Neck piece, chin piece, face plate and main helmet are separated elements in a lot of the wearable builds.

So, does anyone know if there is a pep request thread?
Or a thread to request assistance on a project?
Thanks alot..............

If by chance you are interested in helping me out, and are capable with the pepakura designing, please feel free to pm me.

Thanks for the help. I was looking closer at a few threads and the pics show that the lower back of the helmet is removed. This Appears to be the best choice making the seam on the back that is not very noticeable.

Thanks again for the help.
