Yes the actual pictures shows him with one of my TM`s.

Is this a direct (little deformed) cast of an original ANH chestbox, I have since the 90s?
It was promised me to be one. Please take a look at it and tell me what you think:

IMHO the chestbox looks good....very sharp casting.

It is nice to see the TM as part of a complete Vader, especially one with such a relatively long history.

Thank you Gino. Well for me you are an archetype of someone who wants getting attention for every prize. That´s why I mentioned you. But you are overestimating yourself. You are not taking energy from me. And I´m not jealous of you. Are you on me? Well it doesn´t mean anything to me, so you don´t have to answer. I like most of your work and respect it. You are a very good researcher for details. Very focused. And you have very good artists working for you. But I can´t understand how a man can behave like you in public, as I mentioned in another thread. How about to have piece?

I try to let my work speak for itself whenever possible.
Also, I don't have any artists working for me. I make and finish everything myself, or on occasion work in-conjunction with others on special projects.

As far as attention goes, just like anyone else I like to get recognition and exposure for the hard work I put into my projects.

But it's a bit of the pot calling the kettle black to call me out about it when you have a million threads about action figures cluttering up the prop forum. One for each figure no less. BTW, shouldn't they be in the OT forum as they are not prop replicas?

You do everything yourself? Tell that to the good artist that were sculpting for you. Maybe I got something wrong??!?? And you have no tailor? You are making everything yourself? I don´t like how you speak about yourself. That is all I don´t like about you.
I have not a single doubt that you are hard working on your projects, which is visible.
Well you speak a lot about every single detail that you don´t show and really explain and you are no sculptor. Beside this you have my greatest respect. In painting Yoda and researching the correct shape of the robe of the Emperor, you are a good challenger for me.
I had a long lonely time until I found the RPF, with you for example who brings back fun to my dust collected Star Wars hobby. So it´s all positive.
So I gave you some recognition, okay. You have never given me anything like this in any thread, but never mind.
I´m also an artist and know what you mean.
Maybe you will in future. I don´t know. If you want feel free to do so.

Thank you for the tip to post my selfmade POF Figures in the OT forum. Well, I only made 6 threads about 6 of my 300 Stop motion (not action) figures - not a million - and I included older versions and other figures in these as well.
I guess I should feel honoured that you may have read all of them :)
So Gino, let´s take it easy.

Yes, why don't you tell that to Cyberman.
Phil is a fantastic sculptor on his own. But you can ask him yourself, the yoda, darth maul, and emperor that we worked on together would not have been as good had we not cooperated. I don't think you quite understand just what my involvement was in those sculpts. It was a whole hell of a lot more then making casual comments along the way.

And yes, actually I am a quite capable sculptor as well although I've never tried my hand at a human figure.

Most of the patterns that are given to my seamstress' are either taken from real stuff, or developed by me.
Sometimes I collaborate with them, but most of the time, I give them the patterns, and they execute based on my art direction.

I think you got something wrong.
I find your opinion about people really poor. There will always come up someone new in the SW hobby who will be "A Star" for a period of time. It was always like this. So don´t take it too serious. Have fun that´s better.
That is how Star Wars survived over these many years.

But you shouldn´t give me a lesson about your relationship with one of your very talented sculptors. Cooperation is good. So far I agree with you. But I don´t like that you give yourself the equal importance as an overviewer as the sculptor who is the REAL ARTIST of those projects. I have met many of those "important designers" like you, before over the years. As well in the sculpting business, as in the Star Wars hobby. I´m sure all of those say now : "I did this" although they only told me what and how they wanted it.

Let me tell you: as long as you don´t sculpt figures and likenesses yourself, it´s not made by you. That´s how I see it.

You only helped with the research, found details you shared them with the sculptor, overwatched it, then painted and finished it. That´s all. One person makes the artistic work and you take much care to be celebrated all over. That´s feels sick to me. I´m not jealous, but angry when I watch this. Just think about it from a sculptors view. That´s the reason why I can´t take your threads and you too serious. But serious enough to respect your research qualities and your talent to reproduce existing details.

How the hell do you know that's all I did?
My role was much more significant than that. You think all I did was make some minor comments along the way? You need to get your facts straight as I find that immensely insulting.
My role with the yoda, darth maul, and emperor sculpts, was to assess the sculpts along the way, help determine what were the problem areas, and clearly communicate/illustrate exactly what those changes should be so that Phil could execute them. And that's a tall order working from two different continents. I've spent more hours than you can imagine on the phone with Phil obsessing over the sculpts, and creating visual edits for him as tools.

Having this critical eye is in my opinion what makes or breaks a likeness and why our endeavors have turned out as successful as they did. So yeah, I take HALF the credit. I certainly earned it.
They were a full on collaboration between the two of us. A two man team.

So when you trivialize my role and the importance of my contribution regarding these three sculpts, it only serves to further explain to me why yours fall short of the mark. Having a critical eye is easily the most important factor in this hobby. Any skill can be learned, but you either have the eye or you don't. You can't learn it.
I'm not by any stretch saying that Phil doesn't have a well developed critical eye (as he certainly does).
I have immense confidence in my critical eye which I feel is my greatest strength and the number one factor that effects the turnout of all my projects. Again, I would hope that my work speaks for itself.

Maybe you should re-evaluate the importance of having a critical eye. The likeness of your pieces might turn out better.
That and stop wasting your time insulting and baiting me on message boards.
