I just got this installed on my PC last night and started the campaign. The game is seriously intense, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Has anyone else been having the annoying server problems lately? It seems like 1 in every three games the server times out, or looses connection to host/server. It's been getting really on my nerves.

Haven't been playing recently but I see alot of people on my friends list complaining about the servers..

Noticed it yesterday - lots of problems with server time outs and connections. Also, I've noticed the same maps come up repeatedly (estate, afghan). I don't think I've played many of the other maps in over a week (and I'm on every night). I'm ready for a new map pack.

I hope they fix the server issue soon. It's so damn frustrating.
Also, I think a map pack is due in the spring, so not too far now.

I havent been on for about a week....have they fixed the care package glitch yet?

I noticed the last time I played I couldn't use it, but people were still calling in things like mad. Mainly stupid little kids.

Any news on that?

They did patch the care package glitch. I didn't play much this weekend because the servers were pissing me off. Yes, it seems like every third match was crashing, or giving lag.

Maybe the patch is effecting the server continuity?

I don't think I've played skidrow in about 2 weeks...

But then again, I usually play with the same group of guys, and one guy lives in the sticks and has crappy internet, so when we get booted or the game dies, we just blame it on him.

Anyone else having problems with the Stimulus Package? None of the maps would work for me this morning. And I'm not exactly thrilled that they don't apply to all the games.

Yeah, you are making my decision to get Bad Company 2 even easier.

The Stimulus package has rendered MW2 unplayable. MS is having server issues making it impossible to play any map, old or new.
It looks like you play the new maps via private games, and I've run around a couple of them solo (none of my friends are online), and they look decent.
Still, having them take your money and not be able to play at all makes this very frustrating. IMHO, they really dropped the ball.
