The Mandalorian Chapter 22 "The Resistor" spark pad case ID help

Doing a new version of the "tray", I noticed that there a two round notches or marks at the holders. Could be from a injection mold...

PS: Maybe they removed something from there, like a silicone handle or a plastic one.

Just found a white one. Can't buy 216 of those cases. Let's hope someone else could sell them for less.

It clearly had a fitted lid, the top edges at either end are recessed. So, when the lid is fitted, it would be like a clamshell design (no hinge, obviously.) Probably the same as the frosted looking bottom piece, though probably clear. The dividers look like simple plastic stock cut and set between the rows to keep them in place.
When I saw the spark pads, the first thing I thought of was gum at the Starbucks checkout counter, lol!

This case also looks to me like it was packaging for something, rather than a dedicated storage box.

That could be a trick of the light. But, could be true. On my sliding top tin research, I could not find any on white or black with the right measurements, only silver ones. Were you able to find one?

PS: Base could be easily painted in white if that the case.
I grabbed the closest size available in white -- not being sure of the dimensions. What size are you thinking for these?

The ~3.1” tall version seem right and fit with my current theory that the tray/case for them is a butter dish.

duplicate post.
Still looking. My son had a magnet-connected knight toy that was in a package that was also used for storage after purchase, that looked like this, but it seems to be long gone now…

I agree, they must removed it from somewhere else. It is not a simple tray or drawer.

That looks great! The circuit pattern does seem to crowd the edges a little more though. Will you be making slide transfers or files available? :)
edit: never mind, the pics of yours at the same angle as on screen looks excellent. That was fast work, well done!

Negative, these are 3.15 x 1.34 x 0.4 -- these ones -- I like the look of the coating on the bottom half, but the edges of the lid don't look at rounded as the one on the show does. (Could be a trick of the light.)

Could be the angle, but they do seem too short or too wide. The ones I got in silver are slightly narrow, like 31mm, not 34mm. But maybe is just the angle. What did you use for the sticker? Water decals?

That looks great, THANK YOU - very cool of you to share it. That circuit pattern looks like it would have been fun to do but conversely a huge pain!
I have never made a slide transfer before, something new to look forward to!

I am playing around with a stamp prototype. FDM printer won't achieve a great one, due resolution, but a resin will do the job just right.

A stamp is a great idea! In fact, I bet it wouldn't cost too much to get some rubber ones cut by a print-on-demand site. (One for the black and one for the blue.)
