The Mandalorian - Camtono

Since you need only the top, the 3D model of any other one in the same series would work. They are available on the C&K webpage, you select a switch, and hit the little box shaped icon to get the model. (Registration required). But the edges and curve of the C&K switch is closest to the photo. The others all have a extra chamfer on the sides, and a wider bezel. Also as a product designer, McMaster is my #1 visited webpage, and if they ever stop providing great 3D models I might as well quit.

Thanks! That’s very helpful. I’ll register and see what I can do with that C&K.

ATM I’m tied up with a commission on some 191X lights for Jurassic Park, but as soon as those are assembled I’ll be back on the Camtono.

Just about finished up with my JP light orders, and then I'll be back to modeling again. I know there's another one that's actually pretty decent on the Mando costuming group though. (Bud Livingston has one most of the way done already)

Any updates on this? Really curious if there's been any progress. A buddy of mine and I would love to make this and wire it all up if you ever sell the files!

I too am curious, love the progress pictures and detailed updates.

Sorry guys, I kinda put this on hiatus, since there is a really good one out there with functional doors. I might still pick it up later if there's interest though.

Ah yes, I’ve seen that. But I don’t think they will be sharing the mechanics of their build, more for commercial sales of a finished product.

I actually have printed the camtono, and looking for help with the electronics and mechanics which I am clueless.

Wow. That's awesome! I haven't looked much further than seeing the video and the for sale posts, but did they offer the kit with the electronics and arduino code or no?

Hey bro! How’s things? I didn’t print it myself. It’s by a friend of mine who runs Imperial Factory. Look for them on FB. They do resin printing.

I was going to say, it looked like resin print! I couldn’t find a single print line and was wondering what printer it was printed on, didn’t know they made them that big!
