I paint horizontally on a lazy Susan, so I can spin it as I spray
That looks awesome man! Congrats! Haven't put a clear coat yet have you? It's almost a shame to put on a clear. I really love how it looks raw. I've actually talked myself into making one more shield this time with inner rings and a full bracket.
What kinds of nicks/marks? Close up pics?

Spray the red and blue you used into small jars with a straw and let it degas, then you can use it as touch up paint
And not in a plastic cup i tried that and the cup melted.
No and I don’t think I will. It just looks great raw. But I have to say, I kind of want to make another one. It was actually a lot of fun. I’m really glad I did it. So many people have been asking me to make one for them haha.
I added some photos of the nicks and marks.
Great idea! That will work perfectly. How long does it take to degas usually? And do you use just a fine paint brush to apply?
Nice catch. That’s what I was thinking. I think I got some mason jars that should work out well. Thanks!
Eh they look like minor scratches. You have what I like to call "new car syndrome". Fresh off the lot and every scratch is painful. You are good to go buddy. I'd be more worried about messing up the paint job during your attempt to touch it up. You did a great job with the paint job!
I wonder how many times that question has been asked, and how many times it's been answered...
i get that thus has been asked alot. but i'm asking as having tried the other avenues that have already been mentioned in this and other treads i seem to have come up with either no items or no response. so thought i would ask to see if i could get an answer that hadn't already been supplied. especially that now Marvel have been getting on the case and stopping the usual means.....
Accurate Metal Spinning from Miami Florida. They run about $200 for their basic one, you can get one done to custom specs but it costs a bit extra.
