Doesn't blow up...

...Or so I've heard. :confused:lol

DAMN! :lol

It's one of the few things out of the Anarchist's Cookbook that I or a friend or a friend of a friend DIDN'T try in my younger and more vulnerable years...which is surprising considering it's so cheap and simple.

It flares up like you would expect a lot of matches in a tight space to but no actual boom. ;)

Well, I'll be! They are airing the stone cannonball episode right now!

They began with an apology for the damage caused to the house and it's clear they've reshot some of the to-camera pieces, as evidenced by Tory's growing and shrinking facial hair. He goes from having a beard in one shot to being clean shaven in the next. :lol

I'm just glad they finally went ahead with this episode. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Tennis ball bomb, ehhhh I better not. I will say that strike anywhere's are not used, but black powder is, the other items necessary I won't say.

I don't need someone trying it and then having either a police officer or a process server on my door step.

I hope the whole ball wasn't filled. When I was in school, I was a film major...and the only one crazy enough to experiment with explosives for other people's work. So I've had experiences with close to that much black powder (Well, smokeless powder) and it is terrifying. If you've safely done what you're hinting at, bravo!

It's funny that we're talking about explosions now...since this was one of the few Mythbusters episodes without a big boom at the end.

The whole thing wasn't filled with BP then you would get a bang with burning, not a bigger boom. I won't go into it publicly but if you send me a PM with your E-mail address and promise NOT to spread the info I'll explain it. And it's not illegal unless you use it for illegal purposes. It falles under the homemade fireworks exemption.

Nick, that takes me back to my teenage years. Fan films and home made explosions...those were the days. Although I do remember me and my mate having to hide in some woods for an hour once while firemen came to investigate some smoke - never quite forgave myself for that one. Explosion looked great on camera though!:lol
