NP. If you can't find them let me know I can probably find where I got mine, although you may have some issues with the over under retainer that holds them in place with the other pieces. I wasn't able to find a supplier for those particular sizes so I had some 3D printed in stainless.

Putting together a movie Hawkeye costume and figured I'd give these a try with the new 3D printer:

Not the best paint job but it will help to make a statement.

Has anyone been able to ID the leather jacket he uses at the end of the movie when they are all in central park? I have been looking forever with no luck. I figured if anyone would know, it would be my friends at the RPF.View attachment 384988

Total noob here. I've been following this thread for a while, and trying to piece together a half decent V1 (Black) Hawkeye costume for Halloween. The help here has been awesome! In my hunting, I have managed to ID the boots worn in the V1 (black) costume. They are 8" Timberland Tack Head Boots in Black. As most things are from film, they are very hard to find, and are wickedly expensive ($275-300). With my limited budget, it looks like the old black work boots will have to do. I thought I would pass on the information though. Good luck!

I've finally got my 3D printer out of the loft and started printing off some bits.
One of the first successful prints was the spring loaded hinges for my Hawkeye Folding bow.
Here's a few pics and links to a couple of short video clips of one of the hinges actually working.

There's still a bit of work to be done, butI hope you enjoy them.

Having looked over this thread, I'm getting a vibe that Hawkeye is becoming like the Boba Fett of the MCU. .. which is awesome!

That said, I'm in on a quiver build and more for the Hawk. Love what I've seen!

Hello all,

I've been bored to death today and I think, short of going custom, I found Hawkeye's vest fabric right here http://www.therainshed.com/fabrics/1000cordura.htm

Take a look at this 1000 denier maroon swatch:

If it's not exact, it's pretty close. As I look at Hawkeye's it seems to be a blend of medium gray and maroon in a tiny rectangular pattern. I'd be game to use this as maroon choice.

Just sharing,

KK2

That's probably the closest you'll get without getting the actual fabric. It was stuff called Keprotec and was extremely expensive (between $60 and $80 a yard) and was/is not sold retail. The difference (other than material make up) is also color, the screen used stuff has an alternating blue and burgundy weave. I've tried three different sources (rainshed being one) to get in contact with the Swiss company (Schoeller textiles) that produced it and no joy.

I'm going to talk to some folks I know in the backpack/outdoor gear biz about this stuff. Who knows.

That said. ....I now have a serious Jones for Hawkeye 2.0 long coat from Avengers 2. Help me! :D

Hi there
My boyfriend is preparing Hawkeye costume and I'm helping. I wanted to share what we have done so far and ask you a few tips.
For the vest, we bought this one:
http://www.leatherjacketmaster.com/hawkeye-the-avengers-black-brown-leather-vest
because he wanted in real leather and the price was not so bad considering it's really accurate (plus I didn't have to sew so yeaah)

For the bow, the Hoyt Buffalo was really expensive, so we bought one which seems similar

it's the Geologic by Initech 2. It needs some work but it's a good place to start.

For the glasses, we found this one and looks nice

The real problem it's gonna be the quiver and work on the bow to make it open and close like in the movie. Do you have any tips?
What do you think so far? :)

What did you use for the quiver as a base or is this all custom made?

I know this one isn't exactly film accurate, but here is my Hawkeye. I threw it together in two weeks for a local convention. The quiver I made won an award in the costume contest for prop craftsmanship. :)

Sorry it to so long to reply. I have been very busy building my Mark 7. As far as my Hawkeye Quiver, it is completely hand-made and custom. Thanks for the inquiry. :)

I've been asked by a few members for a copy of the files for my quiver.
Unfortunately the files for the quiver was lost on a laptop that is 'deceased'.

I do have some good news though. I've been working on a version of Hawkeye's quiver used in Avengers 2.

If anyone wants a copy of these files they are available on a website called GRABCAD under 'Hawkeye's Quiver'. The files are available in CAD (solidworks) & STL formats.
The files are free - I'm not in this game to make money from it. I only ask that you be respectful.
A note on the spine of the quiver - it has been intended to be made from 50x25 (2"x1") aluminium section, but you can use other materials if you wish.

Were you able to find any screen references for the new quiver? I only can see the top in the released trailers.

Long time lurker, first time poster :)

First, I'd like to thank each and every person who has posted to this board - without you I could never have created my Genderbent Hawkeye:

Now for my question. I've seen all sorts of posts regarding the construction of the quiver, but I've never seen anyone address how it actually attaches to the back of the vest. Aside from some early promotinal shots, there's no cross-body strap visible, so that's out. I know the strap around the back can be used to stabilize it, but what carries the actual weight of the quiver?

I didn't have it in time for NYCC (above), but I will have it done for C2E2 in a couple of weeks where I'll be part of a Genderbent Avengers group. I'm making the AoU quiver (it is soooo much sexier than the first!) and should have the long coat done in time for NYCC15.

I made mine out of EVA foam and 48 fiberglass rods for arrows. The quiver was heavy so I used the cross-body strap. Walking around I got bumped in the back all the time so any other solution has to be sturdy.
The AoU version looks much smaller and lighter. The reference photos appear to possibly have something under the jacket.

Lunaris1013:

I've worn my Hawkeye a few times and I have my quiver fixed to a leather strap which is poppered to the vest. This does give a problem of the weight of the quiver pulling the vest back & into my throat. I'm forever pulling the front of the vest forward.

This time I shall be putting 2 holes in the back of the jacket/vest & having the quiver attached to braces passed through the holes in the jacket so no weight of the quiver is taken on the jacket itself.

I hope this makes sense.
