NOw that sarednab talks about that,I don´t know if people knew about the idol I did five years ago, this. This is an special replica I made for myself with an aged look like a the real thing found in a lost temple. Here is a pic I did this morning together others great replicas from Sarednab, Relicmaker or Demiguel.

I was gonna age my Sskuny Idol but the finish was sooooo gorgeous I just could not do it.

Could you share more, like what Idol this is, how you did the finish?

That idol looks A-MA-ZING! So does your Cross of Coronado. They both belong in a museum!!

Thanks guys. If we want an idol like in the film, you must get it aged, sure. THe chrome surface can be attractive but is not the real thing. You can see this clearly in the holy grail prop, Can you imagine the grail like new? Some matte varnish, water colors and dusty must be applied with great care.

This idol is a new resculpted idol by me to make more big and accurate . Many parts have been changed, even the idol that is based on had the angry mouth

Glad to see you sharing your great idol with fellow collectors pedro. As much as i love my gobler, your replica looks like it was just snatched by indy, and nearly lost in the chachapoyian temple forever. Once again, many indy fans will be happy with a replica you've made from scratch:cool
