The Crow Reboot

None of the films were connected except the first and City of Angels.
COA had a grown up Sarah help Ashe Corven, who is ressureccted early in the film.
I actually like COA and it had alot of potential, but the first is by far the superior film.

This kind of thing annoys me, but I get the average person might not catch it.

Crows are passerine birds from the family Corvidae, genus Corvus. Crows are Corvus corax, for example.

I don't know if this was a coincidence, but I suspect it was some writer trying to be clever.

Then they have Ashe Corven, Alex Corvis, and Jimmy Cuervo. Wow! Someone picked up a biology book!


I say the remake have a lead character of Galen Gallus, famed race car driver who is killed along with his girlfriend when a gang of merciless thugs forces them to play a deadly game of....waaaiiiiiiiit for iiiiiiiiit......chicken.

Haven't seen any of the films but was a Bruce Lee fan and I think that it would be very disrespectful of Brandon's memory to remake the first film. But maybe they have the support of the Lee family (Shannon Lee)?

I guess a question I ask myself is what if in the future there was another Batman remake that included the Joker? But this is a bit different since Brandon established the character on the big screen.

I wish the Lees would come back and make them stop it. That would be a movie I would watch. Dead actor attacks hollywood hacks.

FanEdit has done a recut of City of Angels. They say miramax were the ones who screwed it up, even making a fake directors cut. Haven't seen it.

Why can't they simply make a film that takes the concept of this crow spirit resurrecting others done wrong by fate in life? Unique and have their own deal to work out, they should appear nothing like Eric Draven, no connection at all other then this crow spirit that for whatever reasons selects certain people to bring back. That was his personal appearance and very specific to his life. I personally think that would have been the natural direction to go all along.

Didn't he write a sequel comic about a femal cop Crow or something? I seem to vaguely recall it, and it wasn't any good at all.
