Hi Group.
My son and I also belong to www.MegoMuseum.com
Every year, they hold a three day social event in Wheeling WV, which was just this weekend.
My 15 yr old son took on a challenge to build a custom 8" Mego-like action figure. The rules were to use only parts found onsite and build it while onsite.
I have been working on an 8" Calibos in Mego format for a little while now.
He took my Calibos head, did some re-tooling and mixed his own paint color. He also did all the detail work for the eyes and teeth.
The body is Classic TV Toys.
The jacket was a reproduction Friar Tuck Mego.
The body suit was a reproduction Frankenstein.
The severed head that gave up for the Creeper's ponytail was an XMen Storm action figure.
The wings came from a McFarlane Gene Simmons Psyco Circus figure.
Thought you guys would appreciate it, so here it is;
