Interesting miniature linear motor from the world of model railways

So I was looking into a few options for linear motor drives, and got to thinking - I remember how model railways often use US-built "Tortoise" motors to operate turnouts/switches/points/signals. These are stall motors which don't burn out when they reach the end of their travel. However, they're rather large and bulky products.

I was digging around, and came across these Czech-made MTB Model switch motor products. They're compact motor drives that can be used to make small linear movements (from 3mm to 9mm), and I'd imagine they'd be very useful for many general applications in model building. They don't use stall motors, and do require 12 volts or so to operate. They can also operate multi-pole switches for additional accessories.
