That takes some real gills to pull that off…
Nope. The show is now completely removed from the source material. The Boys are back!
Making Frenchie gay and letting go of the chemistry him and Kamiko had was a mistake I think. Did this happen in the comics?

Damn seriously?
TV show has veered from the comics pretty significantly and is now pretty much its own thing. I still think its truthful to the spirit of the source material (a human watchdog over superheroes) but plotwise its a different beast with some major story changes.
Im guessing Frenchie is more bi than just gay. He had a girlfriend in seaosn 1 and apparently slept with the wife of one of the mafia bosses and was hunted as a result so him being fully gay would be a retcon. Im actually fine with Frenchie and Kimiko not being together since that pairing honestly felt a little odd to me (they seemed more like parent and child or brother and sister until season 3)
Its been a while. A reminder would be nice.I'm guessing if Frenchie is a shock then you never saw season 2.
There was a whole flashback scene with Frenchie in a 3 way relationship with Cherie and Jay. Cherie makes mention that Frenchie is a little bit gay.Its been a while. A reminder would be nice.
Episode 1 wasnt great with too much political commentary but episode 2 is much better.
Why is Neuman invincible in episode 1. Shrugged off strong acid and a bullet to the head at point blank. I know she can control her blood from Gen V but why? Im glad A-Train is finally likely to be a good guy. Even though he was the instigator for the show and the first villain, he was showing signs of actual redemption from season 3 and I was actually expecting a heel-face turn at the end of it. Maybe end of season 4 if he doesnt get killed as a result. Im also not a fan of the Annie retcon in 3 to be a pageant mean girl when we know she hated the circuit and is the "hope" of good supes. Episode 3 was kind of a mess but A-Train might be my favorite character this season.
Its down for a 5 season run so things will starting wrapping up soon I think.Still a fun show but it's getting a little desensitized. People die and it's not really a shock anymore. Now there are 10 different storylines to keep track of and it just seems messy and less shocking. I hope they wrap some things up and put them away.
