Sources? Which one do you think he’s referring to?

not sure that works....pimped out on Tatooine is more like Mando's new (to him) naboo starfighter. I'm not sure anything like those existed in the PT on Coruscant. And this is like the first appearance of 'mod people' in the SW universe. Jut go back what? 7ish years in that actual timeframe. Luke lost his hand and got a new one that - LOOKED LIKE A REAL HAND. Vader lost 2 legs, an arm, and damn near the ability to breathe along with most of his skin. He got plenty of add on's, but nothing that looked anything like that. The closest thing you get is Lobot who look like cross between a droid and a human with the integrated computer on his head. He fit in. This stuff flat out does not. It's like the writers or producer played cyberpunk last year before starting this and thought 'that's cool, lets put this in there'. I mean, once they offed the the gammoreans, i was hoping the mod crew would follow.
oh, yeah, totally agree.. their whole style seemed like it was taken straight out of some lameass 80s scifi.

Mos Espa's a big city and a tough place to live so these younger sub cultures make sense (and would appeal to younger SW fans if done right) so the idea of Boba hiring some punk-ninja-parkour street kids could have really worked if they put a lot more thought into it.. what they lacked in physical strength and firepower they could have more than made up for in the stealth of silent street-wise assasins.. their skills futher refined with Fennec's training.

I don’t want to start complaining again, but that sounds so much better than what we actually got.
