The Book of Boba Fett

I enjoyed it, but admittedly my expectations were incredibly low considering the Fett story has been the weakest part of this show.

I liked the Rancor bit, I thought that was pretty cool. Loved seeing Grogu see Mando again.

I also liked how Fennec handled her bit of business near the end there.

I’m not convinced Bane is dead. They seemed to really focus on whatever on him was beeping as they showed him on the ground.

Also, I’m not entirely sure who was IN the backta tank at the end? I know it was the tech tattoo-piercer guy outside of it, but I didn’t really recognize who was in it?
I wouldn’t be surprised if he survived as well…

I did how ever like
when fett tripped him his hat falls off and you can see the bad batch steel plate on his head

Quick question.. I don’t dare fire this up again and watch.. but didn’t the bartender from free town say
they hunted him down in cold blood
I thought he mentioned something about killing him
then in the post credit scene vanth is in the bacta tank

Also.. am I missing something?
what does it matter about the whole “the pikes killed the tuskens themselves, wasn’t it clear the pikes were paying the bikers for protection anyway? So in the long run the pikes killed then anyway?

Totally lost with that scene… and then they used it as a big surprise and it still doesn’t matter? Maybe because it’s 3am when I watch it I’m not thinking clearly?

Im also a bit sad they chose to have Grogu return to Mando so soon. It’s been two episodes since they parted. Feels his entire quest and purpose from S2 was just erased so quickly. I thought they’d at least give it a season until reuniting them.

I could write an essay on all thing things that confused me. It feels like there are so many things that were just not important in the end.

I can totally see why an actor involved with this episode might think, “aw, this is going to be so cool, everyone’s going to love it!” because they have no idea about stunt choreography, they’re not really high-caliber actors who understand that RR does not care to try for more than just the first flat, lifeless take of any line of dialogue, and probably didn’t see any of the edit process. They just see “we had so many extras, we blew stuff up, yada yada yada.”

What I really don’t understand about this entire show is those first four episodes...I mean, they EASILY could’ve been trimmed to two, if not even only one.

It’s like they told us this boring story for 3+ hours, just to finally reward us with the premiere of the third season of The Mandalorian, to follow that up with a solid episode of The Mandalorian, then to give us a pretty action packed hour of fighting. I’ll admit it wasn’t the greatest action, but it was FAR better than the first four episodes.

I guess my biggest question is...did any of this show need to exist? Like, we easily could’ve had episodes 5 and 6 as simply episodes of the next season of Mando, and not really had to take much out of them to make that work.

I don’t know, it just seemed very unnecessary I guess, as a whole.

Trying to think about something I did like…
and why the hell “hide” in the bar….? Boba listening to the cyber punk kids? I do not get any of this.. I think it’s my old age creeping up on me

So was Luke too busy with his myriad of other students that he couldn’t take the kid back himself? He basically just stuck Grogu on the bus home.
Maybe he had a hard time with rejection.. maybe this begins his questioning if starting a school when his first student says “f you I’m going back to dad”

You nailed it exactly, it all seemed unnecessary
