The Book of Boba Fett

Just had another thought: Mando could always hook up one of these to his starfighter for his longer trips:

I think the Airstream fits his preferred esthetic. Hell, the prop department wouldn't have to do much to make it look like it fit!
They'd probably go with an Avion rather than an Airstream just to make it more difficult for those who'd like an accurate replica -- although Avion models tended to sport an anodized aluminum finish rather than the polished-up look of Airstreams, there were exceptions, as seen in the attached image. Replacement parts for Avions are much harder to source.

In my opinion, I think he (like Boba Fett, interestingly enough) is really pretty much done with bounty hunting. He took the job we saw in this episode primarily because he wanted information on locating the remains of the Covert from season one of The Mandalorian. Now, he may still need to earn money (though he was passing on it left and right in this episode as well), so what you mention may still be a practical concern. I'm thinking the primary reason he wanted to find the Covert was so he could have Star Wars-brand Mithril™ made for Grogu, so the main reasons he took the job were so he could visit Grogu and bring him a present, and also so he could acquire another ship … so he could actually go to visit Grogu.

I think you are exactly right. Like Boba, he’s transcended bounty hunting (albeit with a different motivation), whereby it’s no longer a career, but more of a “go-to” option as needed to keep his stomach full and his ship running.

But still, the RC was also, like, where he lived, ate, slept in-between bounties. Where’s his home base now that he has no on-ship living space and he’s on the outs with the Covert?

Valid ... but maybe the N-1 will agive him the means to "liberate" a larger ship as well.

Maybe he'll get into the lucrative, high-stakes world of flipping starships for fun and profit.

I'm trying to imagine his infomercial in my head. It's kind of dry ...

It was great to finally see a chink in Smaug's armor for the first time in a long time, but wow was it goofy that it had to be a self inflicted wound rather than... idk.. the guy who was shooting him in the back but chose to aim at beskar instead of any of the exposed areas on him
Its like Disney characters are just too 'pure' to really ever be touched/harmed by an enemy, let alone just some random guy... It always feels like its got to be an extra special bad guy character when it happens for whatever reason...
Keep in mind too that unlike in fandom, in SW, the Mandalorians are a rare breed. I imagine people have heard rumors of them, but seeing one would be much rarer... especially since their world got glassed. I mean, Stormtroopers wear armor too... but it doesn't protect them from blasters.

Complaints about non-force users being able to effectively use a lightsaber without injuring themselves is the issue they were heading off here.

All she needs to do is make a new outer shell, all the internals can be off the shelf, that's completely doable.
Forgive me, but why would it matter in regards to a lightsaber if one is or isn’t a force user?? He can use a combat knife no problem cant he?? Gideon seemingly had little issue wielding the dark saber?
Force useing in regards to lightsaber fighting was always presented more to do with anticipating your opponents future actions and being able to intuitively or instinctually counter them than it was actually physically being able to wield one...
A lightsaber is/was a tool frankly not all that different than any other offensive or defensive weapon at the end of the day, and it was simply the tool best suited to the Jedi/Sith given their way of thinking/governance in the SW universe

That only works though when everyone Mando runs into doesn’t literally ask “is that beskar” or just automatically assumes it is and tries to kill him to steal it from him no?

Stuffs like walking around with a fat roll of cash hanging around your neck in a bad neighborhood and expecting not to get jumped lol

He needs a paint job to attract less attention. Go back to the S1:E1 color scheme, I’m begging them. I miss his old armor. Less bulky, more lived in.

He could sell starship repair warranties with Ice-T, I suppose……

On that note, with just his SVU money, does Ice-T really need to do those commercials? I can’t figure it out, other than he’s possibly a horrible spendthrift and does, in fact, need the money.

Well, Rappers are known for their posses and posses are expensive, that, and often being baby daddies, which can get expensive too. So maybe he had a lot of debt from before and the majority of his SVU money was used to pay off that debt. Look at Kareem Abdul Jabar and how long he played in the NBA, he did so because he lost a lot of his money earlier on and so he had to continue on playing well past his prime to make up for it.

It's also possible that Ice-T doesn't need the money and is doing these commercials just to keep busy. It's not unheard of for retirees to go and get a part-time job after just a few years of retirement just because they're so used to working and otherwise having to spend their day doing something that they get bored just sitting at home and basically doing nothing.

wait...are you implying that Mando is going to give his beskar armor back to the Armorer and Boba is going to die at the feet of Mando and Mando is going to wear Boba's from now on? jk...that would be something...then everyone would get the Boba/Mando they always wanted...lol
