I'm always afraid to respond to people that I know don't like something that I do, simply because I don't want to come across as insinuating that someone is 'dumb'(& after 30 years of marriage, that gets said A LOT), but I think we've built up enough goodwill over several threads & discussions, I don't think you'll accuse me of that.

The voice after died in 1987, but they did a excellent job pulling it off.
He was also in the bar in mando, but I believe now it’s changed and not the same droid/character (was most likely the same puppet) that droid however was voiced by mark Hamill in that scene!

You wanna laugh, I actually kinda like Solo compared to most of the Disney BS. That film got double screwed when TLJ nuked everything SW.
R1 and Solo and some of The Mandalorian are about the only somewhat good things we got so far.
When Solo first meets The Monster..I was like Please be Chewbacca!..
I thought it was much better than the last two movies. Plus we got Ray Darth Maul Park back on the Big Screen which was a total MF as I had no idea he was in it!
I will tell you.. and im not being sarcastic.. back in 2016 I went through the hardest time in my life, a end of a serious relationship I had my life savings invested in and lost everything financially, my dad was diagnosed with very bad news.. my identity was stolen.. and people were flying all over the world on my dime.. I was working day and night 7 days a week to keep things afloat for my family and all I used to cope was looking forward to ep8…
I read every book every comic, soaking up all the new canon..
I finished legend of luke Skywalker novel IN LINE waiting to enter the theater to watch ep8..
It was the biggest hype I’ve ever had for a movie because I used it to escape the real world..
When I left the theater I was gutted.. shocked.. couldn’t even talk.. but now I was terrified because I didn’t have anything else to use to cope.. I didn’t care what happened next in ep9.. I couldn’t even begin to theorize because of the sh1t that was delivered to me just now in the theater
I’m being honest, 37 years old.. I crawled into bed after coming home from the theater and cried myself to sleep.. I would have never thought the movie would have been that much of a disappointment.. and now what do I use to escape this hell hold I’m living in..
And since then I refuse to ever hype a movie ever again in fear of being super disappointed
I went into solo not expecting much, figured j screw around with my buddy, have some pop corn, joke around and expect not much in return..and I really ended up enjoying it.
Since then I don’t read much about the movies, I don’t read spoilers, I try not to get excited or theorize anything anymore
Did the same thing for fett, I just can’t believe From what we got from mando to what was delivered the last 4 weeks.. big time shocker for me

I screamed “look at his legs” to my friend like a little girl! I couldn’t believe they pulled this off, and then the camera panned to his face! I couldn’t believe it I was so excited I didn’t even remember what he said because kept repeating myself “I can’t believe it” as my buddy kept saying “shut the f5ck up I can’t hear!!!”
My daughter who had seen the prequels dragged as a baby to see them cried to get out of Ep3 saw Solo with her daddy of her own free will and fell in love with Chewbacca !

TBH that does say something for the organization going on at Disney in regards to StarWars and LFL. Do we think they actually have any idea who really is the driving force behind the creativity rn?
There's just ZERO consistency between media installments let alone episodes within a stand alone series. Its as confusing as it is shocking because the effect really is akin to cinematic whiplash. TFA going into R1 then again with TLJ going into Solo, again with TROS going into The Mandalorian, an now BoBF
Where are the QC guys at on this ship?

You're not getting old...i've been one of the most hopeful fans on here and i still don't get a lot of it. When someone tries to explain it to me it could make sense to their point but then i have 5 other things that don't fit into the point they just made and their is no voice of reason here. nor can be because everything lines up reasonably unreasonable. When the viewer has to work their tail off just to make reasonable sense of things then you have to ask yourself, is it worth it? Lazy writing equals hard work for the viewer. You can take that statement to the bank. Solo was good BTW
Judging by some things Morrison has said recently in interviews.. it really really sounds like the book of fett was being written on the fly..
There is big speculation and I don’t know if I believe this.. but fett was a back up plan.. or fail safe if Pedro wouldn’t sign on for a season 3..
With that said the think tank came up with the book of fett real quick.. originally only a one off series.. I’m curious if they will go for a season 2..
