The Book of Boba Fett

I hid it in a spoiler tag. The guy is a little too beef cake to be Sam I think. Your with me on that his necklace looks like a giant half of a key
the height looks to be right though. When the chief gives Boba the water and they are next to each other he's much taller than Boba. i will look back again for yours

Agreed...but that brings up another problem(atleast for me) and maybe i'm just not understanding things properly...

First of all...i'm assuming Beskar isn't acid resistant or maybe is more resistant than other metals(his whole body isn't metal so anyways..)

If he, only after a few hours already has his jump suit and armor affected by the Sarlacc, then how could it possibly take 1000 years to digest someone...and if he's losing air and/or dehydrated, how can someone possibly be tortured for so long? idk,

I agree wholeheartedly that it was a very short amount of time for him in the Sarlacc...had to be, but when the scene is revealed to us he's basically stationary and not moving...then(like he's awakened out of a dream) starts going for oxygen and realizes he has to get out.(very common for someone who has been startled out of dream....breathing heavy etc.)

my thought: whatever way he got out, he's remembering it in pieces and maybe the torture etc that's supposed to last 1000 years is because of exposure and survival OUT of it. How else would someone know the time frame?(rhetorical) because it's legend or hyperbole based on someone else's experience with exposure and the effects. I've been dealing with the effects of Covid for months now but it feels a heck of a lot longer...lol
The damage on his armor doesn’t doesn’t bother me time wise

We have chemicals today that can turn metal to mush in minutes, not to mention throw a squirt of something like acetone on paint and it’s removed instantly

I don’t think they mention you stay alive in side there for 1000 years, but say the acid is a slowly eating thing, you’d only last as long as can with out food or water

His suit I think is more ripped and worn then it is acid damage, jet pack thruster on it, rolled down into the pit and the spikes and beak eating him.. probably did more damage then the acid

Again I have no proof of this just how I see things

I believe that's how they wanted to present it, for sure

Never said they’d be alive for a 1000 years, just take that time to digest them.

Upon a second viewing of ep2, I've had a thought about the Tuskens. To me, there's no way Boba can stake a claim to Jabba's empire with only himself, Fennec, and a couple of Gamoreans - he needs more support than that, a lot more. Also, these flashbacks of his life with the sand people have to be more than just showing how Boba got his groove back. His connection to them is already too deep to be simply a non-player in the current timeline story. But - where are they? Wouldn't you think they've got his back in Mos Espa as he's stepping out?

These two guys could definitely be wearing some remnants of Tusken robes, and they seem to have a lot of interest in Fett, and he in they. Yes, they certainly appear 100% Trandoshan. But what if Trandoshans and Tuskens are related in some way? Just a thought.

yes, i agree..i just thought the lore behind the Sarlacc was torture etc.. but i'm with you 100% ..no way he was in there long at all but the thing that got me thinking was when we see Boba in there he's just completely still and upright....then snaps out of it...and i think he went in head first. I may be wrong but I believe the way they showed him in the Sarlacc is not the actual way it happened...He's fighting something internally and when he goes to the bacta tank, his memories(some very real) manifest a current torment within himself...or why would he say to Fennec.."The dreams are back"

That implies he's shared the dreams before with her and quite possibly reoccurring.(Not a mind blowing thought) but what i think is the revealing part is his vulnerability and trust with Fennec...it speaks of relationship/friendship...that doesn't happen overnight so that element is intrigueing to me as well.(Don't mean to romanticize everything...just how my mind works...lol)

There’s Bib, off to the far right, leaving the sail barge. I’ve circled it so that he’s easier to see.

Like Harold Q Palpatine escaping the explosion of Death Star II, Bib escaped the Sail Barge explosion by falling into a plot hole just before the explosion occurred.

Plot holes in post-Disney acquisition Star Wars are like Worm Holes in Star Trek….characters seemingly disappear in one movie / series and reappear in another movie / series.

But, as with all things in Disney Star Wars, explanations for the frequent appearance of these plot holes are “…a story for another time”

In keeping with the concept of the Star Wars galaxy really being like a small town, about the size of Mayberry from The Andy Griffith Show, will “Butt Face “ and “You’ll Be Dead Guy” show up in the next episode of TBOBF, complete with a bionic arm and bionic guts and still hanging out in The Star Wars Creature Cantina?

You all know it’s inevitably the next “nostalgia nugget” coming down the chute…

We may as well get Tarkin back too…

I recall in the now legends 90's book Tales from Jabbas palace, they had Bib surviving as well, explaining he escaped using a skiff he had stored on the sail barge

If the real world operated like the plot-hole-ridden Disney Star Wars universe, Abraham Lincoln and JFK would have both reappeared, spontaneously, within the past few years.

Shocked Person: “JOHN F. KENNEDY!!! But I thought you were killed in Dallas, back in 1963??? How are you possibly here, now???

JFK: “That’s a story for another time…

I love the creature cantina! Also the fact you get the droids but they can’t be in the bar (“we don’t serve their kind in here”) even on the box!
