The Book of Boba Fett

Yeah exactly!

As for the previews, from what I've seen, they do a good job of not spoiling anything important. If it's something LFL deems a big deal, they don't show it. At least that's from what I've seen. It does annoy me that Robert Rodriguez claimed everything in the promotional stuff was from the first episode or two but that certainly isn't the case.

i haven't seen the previews but is it possible Rodriguez is telling the truth? Just because there have been other scenes or clips previewed they could be scenes that will never be seen in the actual show? idk

What I would really love is for this season to progress with Boba always on the back foot, playing defense, with the Twins thinking they've got him boxed into a corner. And then it turns out - to our surprise, as well as the Twins - that Boba had been playing them the entire time.
Hang on!
Thats the plot of The Dukes of Hazard!
Boss Hogg and the Sherrif chasing the Boys...

and Jessica is Obviously Daisy Duke...she even works in a bar :D

This show is pretty expensive to produce. I'd be surprised if they shot anything substantial and put it through post without knowing that they were for-sure going to use it.

Did either season of The Mandalorian feature previews that included scenes that weren't included in any episode?

No, not that I can recall.

i'm not sure, i don't watch previews....since the ST

I wouldn’t put much stock into what Rodriguez said about the material in the trailers, they’re so often made by a third party that he could just be mistaken/contradicted by something a trailer company decided to cut together.

I'll admit that is a good point although I think they're more wary of spoiling story beats. Still, it was weird because the movie almost treats the reveal of the second blade like it was meant to be a surprise. There's almost a longer pause than normal before the second one ignites.

I was actually spoiled about Qui-gon's death because I had bought the soundtrack in the weeks leading up to the movie and they weren't as careful with track titles back then lol! I was more upset about that one!

I was so bummed by that. As Wolfsburg said, you can tell that GL wanted this to be a surprise. I guess that approving trailer content was just too low-level to be on his radar.
Trailers back then were funny.. they kind of explained the whole movie. I remember going into ep3 basically knowing the whole thing because the 4 min long trailer laid it all out for us

I honestly don't ever remember anything with the prequels that created any sort of suspense for leading into the next installment...except before EP1 came out i just couldn't wait for the new lightsabers, villains and it was an eternity since the last one. Sort of the same feeling i had with Rogue one. We knew the story somewhat .
Loved Maul, Jango, Kit Fisto, Dooku, all those Jedi all those lightsabers and especially Mace, but their were only 3 portions of the prequals that captivated me from the story.
1. Young Anakin leaving his mother
2. Boba seeing Jango die
3. Obi-wan telling Anakin he loved him
No.2 on this list i feel is going to be a Huge part of this show.

Have to say it would be nice IMHO if this show would be more interesting. Lots of stuff seems cornball and not star wars IMHO. The whole spirit walk to choose a gaderfii stick was just weird. The theme music is ....well its not star wars and besides the cgi jabbas showing up and the black and grey wookie who looked cool then kinda backed down there really was not much else. Sandpeople is interesting but enough already and
the way they are bringing back characters like 8D8 and the there and gone Bib is so poorly done. Bib was at least in his voice and creepiness was a bit intimidating and 8d8's original voice was cool but the poorly blue screened or whatever he is now 8D8 sounds nothing like the original.
There is just so much disconnect.........oh well.....hope the shows gets better.....
