The Book of Boba Fett

To be honest, you may be right...but the first pics has Boba in front of Fennec and the second set, Boba is a foot behind Fennec(ahem...Tusken) and you know how camera angles work...plus just look at the actors height comparison..about 3 in, which could be changed with different shoes...And the Tuskens hood/mask
Maybe, could be a stand in actor...who knows only time will tell.

with this photo i can now understand she's a woman... i just thought this Tusken was going for a dreadlocks vibe

curious if we will see them unmasked.. are they human?

They aren't human although I'm not sure there are any canon references of what they look like. I always imagined they were kinda horrifying looking but it'd honestly be funny if they were cute and adorable. I'd rather them remain a mystery though.

So after about 6 new pages of episode 2 discussion, no one is going to mention the whole Bollywood dance number at the end? I thought that was ridiculous. The should have made it much more aggressive looking.

So far I'm not a big fan of the show. I definitely don't like Boba taking his helmet off in that bar. He would lose sensors when he's in a potentially dangerous situation. I can only imagine they have him do it to show that he doesn't feel like they're a threat.

It was mentioned. I think the speculation is that it was inspired by Tem's Maori background. I agree about the helmet though.

I've noticed this in The Mandalorian as well but they don't seem to put much stock in the helmets. What I mean is, we grew up being told that Fett's helmet was packed with technology with sensors, different view modes, etc. etc. I always pictured they saw things with a "Terminator view" with data and information presented and could switch through a whole suite of viewing modes. However, other than Mando having some limited viewing capabilities and a light, and Fett having a rangefinder, it doesn't seem the helmets can do much. I assume they at least don't have any kind of lowlight capability or an actual light wouldn't be needed. Fett having a light at the end of his rangefinder is a new development although I think it's ambiguous as to where it's actually supposed to be. It appears to be in addition to the two red lights that have always been there.

i wonder if they keep having him remove his helmet so the audience can connect with him emotionally

this is my problem with mando... you dont see his face, his voice is always mello.. i have no connection with him what so ever.. i cant build any kind of relationship because he's just "blah"

i know i complain about mando, but idk what it is about vader but im totally cool with him. i dont get it.. basically kind of the same situation.. idk..

i was also wondering with morrison basically told them, ill come back but i want more time out of the helmet..

idk.. i feel like others have stated here that his out of the helmet a lot.. and that really isn't his "character"

maybe from living with the Tuskens he's grown to feel more comfortable with out it? idk..

i do feel this is a production move.. weather to have the audience connect with him.. (which they could do in flashbacks with out the helmet on) or its actually morrison himself..

can someone explain to my the Bollywood dance number.. im trying to think and cant figure out what we are talking about?

In my version of reality they all look like Sloth, and all they ever say is "heeeeeeeyyyyyy yoooooooouuuuuuu guuuuuyyyyyyysssss" but the mask muffles it and it sounds like huuuuuuuuuuuhhh huuuuuhhh huuuuuuhhhhh
youre too much lol!!

i was wondering if they look like humans and used all that mask to protect them from the sun, idk.. maybe they are like the pikes and need the helmet to keep them safe out of the elements..

Possibly, but the Maori stuff I've seen looks very aggressive, not dance-like like this did. If they had done it very aggressive, it would have worked.

That's what it's for. They have filters and such.

I guess the question is, do you have more to gain or loose from finding out? and which one is worth more in the larger picture.

Both can be true...the real Tuskens can remain unmasked and the humans posing as tuskens can be unmasked
