The Book of Boba Fett

Here's something that I've been thinking about since Luke's conversation with Grogu...

Let's say Grogu starts training when he was 20. At 50, he's still a toddler basically & his new 'Master' is 30ish. If Luke were to live a normal human life, he'd be dead at say 80. Grogu would be 100, which might be equivalent to a 10 year old human, since Yoda seems to have died at 900 of apparent natural causes.

I guess me question is, if it takes maybe 300 years for this species to reach the rank of Master, how do they decide who a new Master would be since one would possibly have 4-5 Masters during that time, with each one having maybe the same level of experience at the time of their deaths.

Like if you were to make it to 6th grade in elementary school, then for the rest of your educational career (elementary, high school, college, grad school, etc), your new teachers could only teach you at a 6th grade level.

I hope my question makes sense. LOL

I saw this in Star Wars Theory’s video earlier today. Really weird that the official stance was ‘he built a new one’ but the on screen evidence now points the other direction…
That’s where I got it from

I wasn’t able to finish the whole video just snapped the screen caps

I knifa wish somebody could hit up Matt Martin on Twitter. I wonder if Lucasfilm is even aware? I mean it's not very noticeable. And I've seen ROTS numerous times, and I've always thought Yoda lost his saber.
Me too, never noticed that at all! You can even see it on his hip when he jumps out of the hatch.. never caught it

Always have to complicate things ;)

Is that stated somewhere for his species (Not sure if that’s when Yoda hit Master)? I just assumed he’d be able to learn as quickly as anyone else, meaning ~20 years of training and he’d be on his way to Master. He’s already doing things I wouldn’t assume a 5 year old would be able to do like his force jump and some of the things he’s shown in Mandalorian.

Maybe not. Maybe being a kid limits him at some point, but I always looked at the force as being without barriers. Hence the lesson of size not mattering. I guess I saw age as the same if the pupil was talented enough. Interesting to consider though.

I still don’t get the hate over his prosthetic face..

The dude is 100yrs old.. your skin at 100, doesn’t look the same as when your 25/30

So he’s got alittle pale.. and he’s alittle bloated.. probably from the spotchka ;)

I’m not directing this towards you joker I’m just saying all I see on YouTube is people having to explain why he looks different

Amazing people can’t realize this on their own that real life will never match the cartoon lol
Completely agree. The essence of the character came across perfectly in my opinion. In fact I thought his live action was far more intimidating than his animated character. At that point, minor visual details aren't gonna bug me.

I’m gonna start the rumor that Yoda had two sabers in ROTS. The VD Praco saber and his AOTC. He just happened to bring both that day and lost the Praco. EZ.

Yoda VD saber is now screen used!

Mouth of Sauron flashbacks. Lol.

I watched it with people who don’t know Star Wars beyond Mandalorian and they understood immediately that this dude was scary and not to be messed with. Above all, the character coming through is the most important part.
That’s awesome! Being a huge fan of him, probably my favorite bad guy in the clone wars.. once I saw him walking the desert I lost control..

Another serious issue I have.. when seeing something prop related for the first time my eyes bounce all over the place trying to identify or see what they used

It really ruins the experience and I’ve tried to train myself to prop hunt on the second viewing

I’m really going off topic here.. but yeah, once I saw him I lost control

So cool that group knew he was a bad @$$!! Thanks for sharing that experience!

Oh my gosh. That was me watching the last episode of The Mandalorian. And this latest episode. I'm squinting at Luke's lightsaber the whole time!

Same. Was bummed his new ninja outfit didn't have a belt, so that cut down of screen time for his lightsaber

Someone here I'm sure could spot this right away, but I saw a video last week(no idea who or where), but they stated that Yoda's saber was a MR, based on the bottom. According to them, it looked like the bottom had the copyright info sanded/ground off.

Could that be true?

Hey there now, I have to disagree! I watched a cartoon that had Santa Claus in it, and then I saw him at the mall in real life, and he looked basically the exact same!
