The Book of Boba Fett

Ep. 2 is probably my favorite though ep.4 is up there as well. The remaining 2 episodes range from “meh” to awful in my book. How will 6 and 7 stack up? Stay tuned!

Of course I’m not counting ep.5 because I have a hard time calling it a BoBF episode. lol It was by far the best of any of the others this season and one of my favorites of all the SW TV content thus far.
I’m with ya on ep2 being my favorite so far

Did they show krrsantan in ep2? I remember watching it at 3am and seeing the hutts appear I was all excited. Then krrsantan came from around the corner and I gasped

Loved it, I can’t say I have felt this way in any other of the episodes, like you not counting 5

Yep, Krrsantan showed up early in ep 2! Besides the first 10 mins, most of the episode was a flashback and included Tosche station and the train heist.

I remember that guy. :) But my favorite is this guy...

Still hoping we get to see him at some point.

Yeah that was always my favorite too

"you are fighting against the blade"
WTF does that mean? Give me literal instruction I can actually apply with my motions, not abstract concepts.
Wasn't the rest of that statement something like don't fight the blade fight the opponent?

I took it as you're tying to make the saber win the fight instead of using the saber to fight the opponent.

So, here is how Fett and Luke had an expanded fight on the Sail Skiff at the Pit of Carkoon, and Fett lost his hand.

I talked to dicky beer for a wicked long time at a con. He shared so much info, like he was the scout trooper that was slammed into the tree on endor. They did 6 takes and used the first one.. he was pissed “they threw me into a wall 6 times and went with the first take.. they were bonkers”

Anyway, he told me how there was a flamer thrower scene vs luke

And that the stunt actor for Luke never worked with fire before.. so they dressed beer up in Luke’s costume and filmed him from behind for the scene

He said when he saw the film he couldn’t believe how much was cut out of that fight scene

“There was a lot more too it mate, I was in that setup for a few days”

I think it has to do with a antique design and the actual shape of the blade

In canon maul gave up using it because of how clunky and bulky it was to wield

It's still vague instruction. Tell me how to hold it, how to position my arms, what direction to lean and when, how to use its weight as leverage, etc.

It's small wonder I don't go to yoga class. Find my center? (pokes at chest) somewhere in here, I guess?
I found it odd instruction as well. It seems that he should have complete command of the Darksaber as he won it in combat (a la The Elder Wand.) One could guess that Jon didn’t want to make him unstoppable now that he possesses the saber?
