The Book of Boba Fett

Frankly, I do not. I think it’s just a tool to him.
I mean, it was to Pre Viszla, too. I'm curious if he even knew it belonged to an ancestor -- all he relayed to Kenobi was that his ancestors had looted it from the Jedi temple (figure more likely the Viszla clan blamed the Jedi for Tarre's death, wanted his weapon as an heirloom/memento, and attacked the temple when the Jedi refused). It seems to have only become a symbol in the Occupation era.

Unfortunately, there has been absolutely no hint that he is force sensitive in the slightest, and it's a little too late to introduce that now.
yet...beggars canyon possible forshadow? my bigger point was the ideology between the Jedi and Manadalorians...he could find a balance between them or as Mand'alore change the creed.

So this sounds goofy but…

…how likely do you guys think it is that Grogu will wind up with the darksaber at some point? I couldn’t imagine he’d kill Din for it but perhaps someone else*? I think Grogu is going to struggle between his training and his attachment to Din and perhaps Mandalorians more generally. I think we can assume Grogu will return to Din, quite possibly pretty soon. Surely Din doesn’t kidnap him so maybe he voluntarily departs from Luke?

Din might already be dead by the time Grogu would be in a position to wield the saber and rule but by the end, is it possible we will see a flashfoward with Grogu as a Mandalorian Jedi?

*perhaps instigating a tale where an older Grogu avenges Din’s death? Not very Jedi-like, admittedly…

I can't see him wielding a lightsaber with a handle 3/4 the length of his body size. :)

IDK...the whole idea of Grogu leaving Luke so soon just cheapens everything that Din went through to get him there and Lukes involvement in the finale. Grogu returned to his kind(Jedi)...Mando is always going to be Mandalorian...it's that division that will ultimately unite the two creeds in the end loosening the restrictions on both sides and opening the creeds up.

edit: i mean thank the ST ....Leia had a son...how does that happen without attachment? maybe the Jedi will see it was all the hiding Anakin had to do to conceal Padme that led him to the darkside...it was all about attachment to Padme

Very good point. Lol!

I agree I’m not a huge fan of the prospect of Grogu reuniting with Din already. I thought he’d go unseen for at least a season or a time jump…but the end of the last episode implied a reunion was imminent.

Is there anything that states Luke kept the rigid non-attachment dogma when he reformed the order? Seems like he'd be the type to try to loosen things up.

LMAO!! Everyone complains how Temura is too old, and now you want a man who's 10 years OLDER than him to play Boba??? :D
I wouldn’t have wanted him in this time period but if Fett had shown up again in the ST? Could’ve been more plausible.

And honestly if Harris had been Fett, the clone storyline would’ve presumably never happened and Fett could’ve been older than he currently is in the OT era. 50-60s vs 30-40s. They wouldnt have been tethered with him being a 12 year old kid 20 years BBY.

I agree. If Grogu is bonded to him and dependent on him, how is he to grow as a person and gain command of his powers if Din is popping in every 10 months to check on him?

Disney Accounting Office: "Soooo... I know you set the plot to have some time away from Grogu and focus on other things... but we need to sell more plush and toys... and we also need 2 new costume changes... can you make that happen? Like now?" ;)

Luke...The Jedi Master loosens the Jedi creed

Mando...The new Mand'alore loosens the Mandalorian creed

I could totally see the whole series end with Mando's last line he ever says after giving the new direction.."THIS IS THE WAY"

The force resides in all living things, in my version of reality Luke would have gone full Shaolin Soccer and gone on a mission to teach everyone kung fu. Unlike traditional Jedi/Sith that only looked for the .000000001% of the people who met a number criteria.

That's what I like about the Midichlorians being introduced, everyone has the possibility to connect to the force on some level, only thing stopping you is someone teaching you how.

Listen to the conversation between the Armorer and Mando...it's crystal clear. She knows exactly the where, why, when and who of Din Djarin. She's forseen it....somehow. She gave all of us obvious clues as to which direction Mando is taking. I mean, seriously...she talks about a former Mand'alore being a mandalorian and Jedi at the same time...makes Mando verbally attest to the fact that the two creeds are opposite(Yet it was okay for a former Mand'alore to actually be a Jedi)...tells him beskar can't be used for a weapon, just armor(everyone points out the hypocrisy of the whistling birds...it's not hypocrisy) why? because the Darksaber is made of Beskar and she hands it to him and says it's more fitting for him. She knows the creed perfectly and is testing Mando's Metal( where his leaning is) BTW, after the fact he was told he was no longer a Mandalorian, he goes to get on the ship , has to surrender his weapons and still states, "I'm a Mandalorian...weapons are a part of my religion". I'll be shocked if he doesn't end up as a Mandalorian Jedi who becomes Mand'alore and unites his people with a new ideology.
I picked up on that right away.. beskar is for armor only.. why did they allow the darksaber to stay around? Maybe because it can’t cut through beskar?

I wonder if the dark saber is locked on it long enough if it can cut through it..
