The Book of Boba Fett

I was a bit surprised that Bo just let Mando leave with the darksaber?

She was reluctant to have it when Sabine gave it to her. I think watching Maul cut off the head of Pre Vizla, her former leader, messed her up a bit. It's also what lead to her sister being killed previously. Then Moff was able to get it off of her fairly easily.

I think she has mixed feelings about it, which leads me to believe she's not going to be that great of a leader. Neither her, nor her sister were successful leaders.

They're not the chosen ones.

Haven’t totally caught up on the thread…but dang. Nice that we got away from the guy pretending to be Boba Fett for an hour to watch the guy doing a better job of pretending to be Boba Fett. But seriously, if I were a conspiracy theorist, I’d say this was S3:E1 of Mando that was mostly wrapped up, and the lackluster response to TBOBF convinced them to adjust it to be this week’s episode. I loved the butcher’s shop, the “Halo” city, the unwieldy darksaber, heck, even the N1. It’s still a little funky, considering all the space and utility he’s giving up, but man is she fast and is she nice-looking. I still think the Tatooine mechanic is too goofy, but what a fun episode. And someone either must have been giving Bryce Dallas Howard some directing lessons, or this script must be much tighter and doesn’t require as steady a hand at the till.

TBOBF can’t end soon enough, and S3 can’t get here too soon.

If you're gonna ride Mando...ride in style!!!!

100% with ya buddy, the best episode of book of fett doesn’t even include him.. pretty damn sad

Feels like book of fett was a project they didn’t even want to do..

This episode proves it to me..
Exactly. We’ve theorized that BoBF was just a stop gap, and this makes me believe it more than ever. They showed with this episode they haven’t lost a step when it comes to Mando. This was a confident, sharp, entertaining episode. Everything BoBF hasn’t been.

Also, this episode seemed to have the highest budget outside of episode 2. It felt polished and high quality.

Well just caught up with the Book of Mando lol...
Did I fall asleep for six months..what happened in that Boba series I cant remember...

This ep was much better, it had a beginning middle and end. It just goes to show how much better a New character with no back story propelled the story forward..
You can relax sit back and supp it all up!
Good Old fashioned Bounty Hunting Hell Yeah!..
A few cutsie pie scenes I could have done without and What did I say that Crazy mech lady was back!
I won't spoil what Mando got but its rather cool...

Oh and Fennec turned up and looked happy for a change!

Bit of a cop out as it was Really a Mando ep but I'm just happy to get a decent fully formed ep with a decent storyline And it sets up the story nicely for Mando S3!

Well I can't see a S2 coming any time soon..or needed.

Six minutes in and, dude, Star Wars has a Ringworld?

One thing I'll say for the D+ streaming series – they're doing a much better job of having imagination and expanding the world than any of the Disney movies did.

I mean it IS sexy and all... I drive a grey Mustang GT so can certainly appreciate the vroom vroom… but its still impractical af and im not under any illusions at all when cramming scuba gear and everything into every square inch of it :lol:

Anyone recognize the stupid pole thing from the ANH trash compactor scene that they retconed into a crio density blah blah blah loll

Also I might be crazy but Im 99% sure the “i can bring you in warm or i can bring you in cold” line audio at the opening of this is literally the same audio from Episode I of S1 taken and clipped over whatever he probably originally says to the guy
What year GT? I’m a huge ford guy

I wasn't going to watch anymore of this but since a few very trusted friends gave it the thumbs up, I caved. I liked a lot about it. The best things about it for me were no Morrison and all Pascal (a far superior actor), there was actually a decent plot, writing and directing was light years better than it's been. Drop Boba Fett & Rodriguez and stay with the Mandalorian & Bryce for the rest of the season. Please.

Disney can produce decent content if they make good decisions that don't always revolve around fan service, talking down to their audience and put in the effort needed where it works best. It definitely wasn't perfect but was far better than what we've been subjected to. This episode doesn't excuse the ones that proceeded it or make the show as a whole passable but hopefully the remainder stays on par.

I didn’t wake up at 3 to watch it, I watched it at 4 when I normally get up to ride my bike. Glad I didn’t wait until tonight

So wicked curious what the next episodes will bring
