The Book of Boba Fett

Now that the 'world-view' of Mando has opened a bit, I'm wondering how long before he tells those other 2 to hit the bricks?

It did just hit me that since to a Mandalorian, weapons are part of their religion, then an armorer would hold the position & authority of a shaman or priest

Definitely my favourite episode! Interesting thing was that it wasn't even Boba Fett, it was Mando S3 E1. Can't wait to see the story for Mando S3. I find it to be a shame that Boba doesn't even feature in his own show and yet again there is no plot progression for the events relating to him but seeing what they've done so far, I don't really care anymore; I would rather see Mando! Really cool seeing the darksaber and him getting a new modified ship, though I would have thought he'd want something bigger.

I'm still wondering if the armorer is Rook Kast, the past Maul sympathizer. I thought for sure we were going to get a vague clue when she saw the dark saber.

And I believe that religion is only that faction of Death Watch that went their own way and became zealots. (Have to agree with Bo there...they're a bit much.) Yet they still follow some of the general Mandalorian ways. Some of the Wrens, including Sabine, are still out there too, and they're not hyper religious either. The zealot religion is dying, hence their dramatically dwindling numbers. The armorer has to turn out to be someone of some importance, since she's with a Vizla.

Perfect points. I misspoke when I equated Death Watch's ideals with ALL Mandalorians.

It was interesting that, according to her, the name can be taken away for perceived apostasy. I wonder if that only applies to foundlings?

100% with ya buddy, the best episode of book of fett doesn’t even include him.. pretty damn sad

Feels like book of fett was a project they didn’t even want to do..

This episode proves it to me..

There has to be some reason as to why they're so pious about the helmet law. No other Mandalorian before this faction, stuck to that rule, only after the complete splintering of Mandalore.

It would make sense if all those in the covert were ex-Maul sympathizers. Hiding in plain sight, while also hiding behind their supposed religions rules that keep them from being identified.

I honestly feel like Fett works better in a group of rag tag characters. Him teaming up with Din in the first place, was magic. He's always had a bounty hunter crew along side him, and started that way as a teen working with Sing. Despite the few scenes in the OG where he's doing his job, he was always in some crew, or appears to be.

For me, Din is far more of an interesting character now and a smidge more bad ass. I actually really like the thought of him and Boba in a crew together. But I also think Din needs to retire and become the one true dad!

When mando first aired I figured we were never getting a fett movie so this would be their version

I think it’s kind of back fired on them now, now that mando is far more interesting and cooler then fett

I’m wicked curious how it would have been if they used fett from the beginning and we never got mando..

Here's another one... We know that the Razor Crest was a model ST-70 Assault Vehicle, but it seemed like they were insinuating that the name of a ship & the model were interchangable. He was looking for ANOTHER Razor Crest, not another ST-70.

Really wondered if it was too soften the blow of the FIRESPRAY?

Hmmmm… so are you telling me there’s more then 1 millennium falcon!? ;) lol

For those who watch todays episode I have a question

do you think we will actually see mando go visit gogurt, or will the next time we see mando it will be at the palace coming back from his visit

I hope so! That little Beskar gift was wrapped like his head...*cries* I want to see him in tiny Beskar mail! ....but part of me thinks it might be off screen. There were some leaks that said he would show up in "some capacity".

Whatever it takes to have Din take him and get him the hell away from Luke before Emo-Boy shows up. If anything it might be an after thought scene at the end of the season. Is this the scene that Han is supposed to be in? Dropping off the aforementioned Emo-Boy?

Ugh...

Side note: here's the light we see Peli Motto using:

Everlight Manufacturing calls this the "Pivot Work Light ELM-8217-2 with 3W COBx1+F8 LEDx1":

They also make versions with 36 and 8 LEDs in the same body:

The version used in the show with a single LED is available in different colors under different brand names like Stalwart:

Jet:

And MultiTech Solutions, among others:

But I couldn't seem to find one in yellow for whatever reason, which is what it looks like they painted over in the show.
