I don’t think there’s anything I just loved but I thought the rancor looked really good. Seemed to be a much higher quality than the Hutts. I liked the “jump scare” of Black Krrsantan interrupting Fett’s bacta dream although I wish it had been more abrupt and the subsequent fight had been more brutal. How he managed to get there at all is another question though.

I still am wondering if we’re ever gonna know why Fett requires nightly bacta sessions though. That seems pretty extensive. I know the sarlacc is the obvious guess but he just didn’t seem that bad off in The Mandalorian and generally handled himself pretty well. I guess he hasn’t been the same since he got his butt kicked by Koska Reeves in that bar. I jest but it almost seems that way.
My head canon is that he was not a "perfect" clone. While he was not supposed to rapidly grow (and age) like the clone troopers, the cloning process has created genetic imperfections that are now catching up to Boba. He now aging faster, etc.

Speaking of Cobb, and in a roundabout way Din, I think the biggest issue with BOBF is that both of those guys stole Boba’s style and did it better than him. Din’s whole deal is an obvious Boba stand-in, while Cobb’s story would have actually been a great plot for Boba himself. Crawled from the wreckage, nursed by the people of Mos Pelgo, self declared Marshall of his own little backwater. Throw in a little ideological/heritage clash with Mando and you’re off to the races.

I agree and that makes sense but I'm beginning to wonder if the show will even address it. Or we're meant to think this is just sarlacc healing, which seems oddly extensive.

Agreed! Din+Cobb=the Boba Fett we wanted. lol!

I remember when they teased Fett in the first episode of season 2 of Mando, I honestly thought he would be a darker, if not outright evil, foil of Din Djarin when he finally came into the picture. Would've made for an interesting juxtaposition and showed what Din *could* be if he made different choices, perhaps being flip sides of the same coin. Din with his heart of gold and Boba being more self serving and willing to cross a line to get things done. It quickly became clear they weren't going in that direction when they instead had Fett help Din and I now have no clue what the heck they're doing to Fett at this point. lol!

Everyone needs to rewatch Mandalorian season 2 The tragedy again and really listen to Boba...listen to what he says...He is still the same Boba Fett as the one in TBOB...Yes, Mr. Rodriguez directed it and it was written by Favreau so consider this the foundation going forward. Why do i tell you this? Boba has not changed. It looks as if he has. He has not. Everything that we've seen thus far with Boba has either been in a dream or taken place after meeting Mando. There is one line he says that made me rethink everything that we are seeing right now. I want to see if someone else can find it. Like i said before, buckle your seatbelts and start writing your apology letters now to Mr. Rodriguez because it's about to get very fun.

Legit feel like I could run faster if I was at a FULL sprint. Took a while for Boba to actually utilise his jetpack as well; that 'chase' should have been over much sooner.
I'd forgotten about the length of time it took for him to deploy his Rocket pack...Although in reality they'd only travelled two blocks by my reckoning

I watched this episode today with my 18yo nephew. We also thought the speeders were way to slow, but they were twisting through streets, so maybe not a lot of room to go full speed. He also said they looked like Scooters. I did like the chick slamming hers onto the speeder to disable it, because that was done several times in the old EU books, so someone involved in the show has read them. Oh and at one point he says "Holy crap, did he just use a Star Wars pay phone?" His favorite game as a kid was The Force Unleashed so he's going to be bummed if Boba doesn't go on a rampage riding a rancor.
