Sorry about the delay in the thread guys. Basically the builder's day job gave him a massive contract that took him away from the build until that job is completed. He hopes to be back to the Blue Box by January. Not much left now to be honest. Before this work commitment came up he really plowed thought most of this build beautifully. Just a few more steps!
You got that right! He didn't have a huge project on at the time he started the build and he really got into it too. So much so that when he did get the big job he was annoyed he couldn't finish the box! That's the kind of dedication you'd want for a build like this really, so kudos to him!
Sorry for the lack of progress photos at the moment.
As Terrasolo said, there is other work that is putting this project temporarily on hold - but we got a ton of work done in a short period of time, so finishing it should be a breeze.
Been a while, but we're back on this full steam (finally!).
The doors and walls are in the process of being finished up.
Here, we mounted the doors for the first time. It was highly gratifying to swing it open:
Next, I began working on some paint samples for the Tennant style color scheme. The sample shown below is my favorite, though my phone camera had a hard time capturing a truly accurate representation of the color as it looks in person:
We're excited to get this up to snuff.
A BIG thanks to Rebelscum for all his support and help.
I also want to thank Primrodo and Terrasolo for their contributions.
