Hey Tony, you had a busy weekend. It is all looking good. I think because of the skin colors you really need some white contacts to finish it all off. You better get them ordered so they are there in time.

Here is some MAJOR UPDATES !!!
My Latex and ultra cal came in thursday
And i am off to the Cave to start knockin out the rest of this bad boy. Here i started painting the leg armor same color scheme of course and i did a few modifications to the suit to make it fit better and did some adjustments to the gauntlets here are a few pics of the top part and YES that is me in the suit. And last night i started pouring the mold on one of the feet and it will be ready on saturday morning to pull out and i can start retro fitting the shoe and the lifts. This is all very exciting i hope it all works out and i will have pleanty of time to finish it
I also started adding the latex to the legs and adding the muscles to it. I measured my own legs with the pants on and then filled them with plastic bags until i had the right length on about 4 different spots so when i put them on they will fit me perfect. now all i have to do is flip it over and put the final coat on and let it dry and add the armor to the sides and start painting the pants
And HOLY COW !!! my gun showed up today check this out yes i know its not painted but it will be by tomorrow morning !
Ok i think that is enough for 2 days work i will post on monday when i get all this done. I will be close to the finish line

Now these are some good update photos. This is really coming together. Sleep is over rated isn't it? Everything is looking really sweet. I really do like the arm for the cannon.

Well if you liked those updates here are some more.I finished the mask by adding the zipper and installing felt inside to save my skin when i have it on. And I added the muscles to the front of the suit and glued the leg armor on. I use felt to glue the foam against the latex, it seems to grab ahold very well and when your in a convention center you want everything to stay on "right". and then i threw on some pros aide and shot the first layer on it and drew out my lines for the cow print and put on some highlights and Now over to the feet. i was able to seperate the cast and cut the slit in it to put the leg back in it and start filling it with foam so far so good. and when it was dried i took the foot and drilled out the bottom to lighten it up some. I used horse matting for the bottom it is made of black rubber and very durable and has a no slip bottom. Once i did that i slipped it on and here it is with me standing up in it against my foot. 9 inches total add on. and after my wife drifted off to sleep i snuck in and painted the gun . i had to use some fabricated pieces to put it all together and give it the right angle but i eventually got it.
I have a total of 12 days to finish it and at this pace i will have it done by sunday the hard stuff is done now i just have to put it all together and hope it doesnt fall apart.

Tony, that foot looks great. I really would like to see more photos of it from others angles. Well executed my friend. I wish we lived closer I would be over checkin out your stuff bouncing ideas. The guys at the fire station only half understand why we do this stuff. Why do we do this stuff again? Haha

you got it i plan on pulling the other one out of the mold tonight and pouring some foam in it so i will have some pics of it on in the morning and the pant paint up is also done.
Yeah that would be Awesome, i don't think i would get much work done at all lol . My guys at my shop love it !! they help out from time to time as a second pair of hands but as far as putting it together they just like to watch and watch some more . !!! i think i see a pattern here .

I decided to take out one layer of the matting in the feet and replace it with this light wieght floor matting it ended up being the same thickness and was a hell of alot lighter.
They are a little on the heavy side but i don't care i will be oveR SEVEN FEET TALL ahhaaa !!!!
Now on to the painting

Man those look great. The skin texture looks fantastic, You should have posted more close-ups when you were sculpting those. I think yours look better on you than mine do on me because of your height. Because I'm short, 5'8" my quads look a little short for the length of the lower leg. Yours look pretty damned in proportion. You suck. LOL. I guess I'm going with the alien weird anatomy theory. Ha.

Thanks guys this has been a major undertaking . I have neglected my wife too much and she is getting tired of the predator in her kitchen .LOL Actually we spend a lot of time together i try to do most of the work in the house so we can hang out.
I just can't paint in there.
Well here is some more updates with the mask on i finally got the head to fit perfect and i picked up some streachable velcro i will sew them on to the armor tonight and those should be done and i am going to put on the base coats to the feet tonight. i will take pics of course but here is me in the panys and feet and mask from floor to the top of the head i am 7.2 !!!! the feet are a little heavy but walking is not that bad i just need to get used to wearing them . I play ice hockey i am a goalie so big heavy bulky gear is not a problem. My motto is if it's too heavy just grow stronger !

Sorry Jeff i have been working very hard on the suit, I had a electrical problem with the gauntlet one of the lights went out due to a short and i had to spend half the day saturday getting it fixed but sunday was a whole new day !!
Here is the finished feet. I had a flaw in the cast on the back of the leg so i turned it into a cut and used flouresent paint to make it look as real as possible i painted the spot with white paint and then used flouresent green air brush paint over it . WOW it came out sweet. i also added some warts on to the pants and darkened them on the back so the transition from the pants to the boots wont look too wierd
If that don't work i will make a wrap and cover it up.
The feet were a little more difficult to paint i am not sure i like the pattern of how i painted it. but i can always redo it later all i have left to do is wire in the switch to my hand to make the quick disconnect to the bio work and i am doing that at my shop after this post is up.
I am suiting up today so i will have some pics later of the completed suit.
I also added the pic of the cut he has on his leg OUCH !!! lol
