Wow it's been awhile. Well, I finished my suit... Kind of. vacuum forming the lenses was a bust, so I decided not to make the lenses from plastic, but instead from foam with projector film, perforated vinyl, and window tint. And I went with the ultimate style

again, short on time, I skipped puff painting the blue but of course puff painted the red.

And I was pretty much ready for comic con.

And in usual comic con style, my mask broke in the beginning of the day.
But I needed my mask off for this anyways

I post this photo for two reasons, One: to show off my pic with Kingston and Darville, and Two: as a warning in regards to the marker technique. Painting the inside with fabric marker worked great for the red, but failed miserably with the blue. DO NOT TRY IT. Or if you do, be ready for some patchiness. This was my greatest regret in the making of my costume.

Now this next photo I want to share because this is why I cosplay.

This kid went to comic con JUST to see Stan Lee, and Spider-Man was his favorite superhero, only one he'll watch or read. Unfortunately, Stan the man canceled, and so this kid and his dad didn't even go. While I was waiting at the train station, this kid saw me and was ecstatic. They asked to take some pictures and of course I agreed. Before leaving, his dad let me know that this made his weekend, and there really isn't much greater a feeling.

I then went and raised money for THON in freezing weather and rain in the suit (mistake) and then on to win a costume contest.

With the zippers now broken in several places, i decided to hang up the webs for good.

That is the end of this cosplaying adventure, thank you for reading.
