The Amazing Spider-Man 2/Comic redesigned Costume

That looks really good! You should show your progress with casting the faceshell. I was planning on making a custom one since I have a small heaf, but I'm going to try the pepakura route.

Basically done sculpting the face shell. Now I just have to make a mold and cast itImageUploadedByTapatalk1408821907.854499.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1408821930.746274.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1408821937.067524.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1408821946.899141.jpg[

WOW. Just "Amazing" man! :lol Haha, looks so clean too! And on a unrelated note, are you going to be making a thread on Handles sometime in the future?

Thanks, and yes I will be. The thread will mainly consist of a video showing 48 hours of work on Handles in about 2 or 3 minutes.

Looks good so far! Do you have photos of you in the suit to show the dye underneath the fabric without the white showing through

After a long break so that I can get properly situated in a college dorm, I'm back with an update on the lenses. I started re-sculpting them with some new clay (monster clay, which is fantastic stuff) and should be moving on to molding and casting soonImageUploadedByTapatalk1409966415.634339.jpg

You need to smoothen out and round it with water
Your method is rather ingenious sir, but cannot be applied here. This clay is a wax/oil mix, both of which are very water resistant, which never dries. I will be using my hands and an alchohol torch to round and smooth it.
Also, I'm doing a completely different method for making my lenses: first I will mold the lenses in silicone and then cast it in resin.
Thank you for sharing your advice though!
