The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

Hey yall!
quick question with the .psd print file. Im a photoshop newb and cant really navigate around what id like to do with the suit. Is there any way to get it in an .eps format or to export it as an .eps so i can work on it with AI or CorelDraw?

The Iron Spider toy mask works surprisingly well for a face shell.

I used Ken's flat frames :D

Wow All of you! This is absolutely amazing! I really want to have one of these suits this year. I will have enough money to purchace one of the high end ones but I like the Idea of taking the time to make it myself so that I can save at least $1000. I know of only 2 people that make screen accurate versions. One being SpideyPlanet & the other is Spiderm Anneeyys Costume Replica on Facebook. To order both of these suits its $2000 plus.

I have a few questions for anyone that think they can help. Obviously this thread has gotten so long that it would take me an eternity to view the 99 pages of content.
I saw people were asking about the zippers and from what I understand there are 4. One at the hood, one below the back spider and 2 along the waist line under the web belt but please correct me if I am wrong.

So anyway I am looking to make this suit, well actually I would prefer the Raimi suit as the darker colors are to me much more atttractive so if anyone could point me in thebdirection to get that in the same format as this that would be really appreciated! :) but going on that, I have access to a 3D printer and someone who could help me sew up the whole suit but I don't know how to use all the programs very well to size the suit and everything to my own size. If there is someone that could help me further do some sizing and what not that would be so helpful! If not I may just get in contact with one of the artists I listed and order a suit from them even though it may cost an arm and a leg compared to going this route.

Thanks again for reading, and I love that you actually posted not caring about the money issue just to provide other fans like myself with a cheaper alternative to make such a beautiful suit!

(Update) : scratch that I found your thread on the Raimi suit but not many replies so I will keep this posted here just in case anyone here could help me out!
Thanks a bunch.

Hey guys been watching this for a bit and I was wondering, could I get some reference pics on the suit when printed by FOD?
I'm wondering if I would want to change the color a bit but i'm not very sure how it looks once printed, the file on the first page unedited I mean.
Thanks if you can help.

Idk why but Im having problems printing the Lens frames. to get it to the right size, I have to scale up by 2500%. Is that how its suppose to be? Idk if thats messing up my prints, but it doesnt want to print nice.

[edit]
seems like from my gcode generator, only the flat frames file is having problems. the curved ones have flat backs and would print ok. anyone print the flat frames?

Um this is unrelated but I have a question, I'm new to this site and wanted a full print file for the spidey costume and I've been confused as to which link will bring me to the full costume pattern and how I download the pattern. Can you send me the correct link and how to download it?

Wow. I just received my fully sewn TASM2 suit and tried it on with the faceshell...Damn it's hot. I took it off after less than 10 minutes of wearing!! Wasn't sure what to do because I had already purchased the shell. Plus, because it fits so well, there are only a few millimeters of space to work with. BUT, I have an idea :) :D >:D Muhahaha! *shoulders a lab coat and snaps on elbow-length gloves*

I purchased five micro DC fans (they are the diameter of a quarter and almost as thin) to slip in the small gap between my face and the shell. I don't have them installed yet, but I'll post pics once I'm done. I taped the quarters to where the fans will be placed:

May I suggest gel padding on the mask?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this kind of thing but really want to get a faceshell! Any idea how much it would cost to print this faceshell (actual material cost) at home if I had a 3d printer?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks so much for the 3d print files and the faq/guide, that's gonna be super helpful.

I was curious about the best way to attach the web shooters, pads and soles to a suit? My default would be hot glue but is there a fabric glue or something that would be better?

Thanks

E6000 has worked for me. It's both flexible and strong. Good luck!

Does anyone know how to print the suit with just honeycomb pattern latex and the rest of the fabric is spandex lycra on the suit?? Just like the movie suit

If I understand the question correctly, the honeycomb pattern could be silk screened I suppose... Is this in reference to the TASM2 suit?

Neither of the suits (TASM1 and TASM2) use latex but the pattern is silk screened (I now work at a screen printing shop so I can confirm these things). However, if you were to screen print the texture of Kenlandrum's pattern you're looking at many different panels, and various screen sizes.

My best suggestion would be to create a giant screen (24 x 36 as I have made it), print them out, and then cut the fabric using Ken's blue patterns as a stencil.

any tips for someone trying to screen print the brick pattern onto an already sewn lycra morphsuit?
