Seeing as nobody has tried this before with this file, I decided to try this method for my second Spidey suit. I took Ken's free suit file (an amazing file by the way, thanks Ken) and split it up in different parts in the blue and red to have accurate seams like in the movie suit. Here are some samples:
for the red parts:

and for the blue parts:

I plan on sending the blue file to a local printer and have them print the dark grey brick pattern on the blue lycra fabric which I will provide them. I will be freehanding the webbing on the red portions, and I might consider freehanding the brick pattern on the red if I do have the time to do it. I have also just sent my lens frames file to a 3d printer and will recieve them next week. I will be using magnets to attach them to the shell. For the face shell, I used an Iron Spider toy mask that I got from Toys R Us.

I was debating on choosing the Iron Spider mask or the regular Spidey mask. But I went ahead with Iron Spider since there was less work to do (like sanding down the webbing, etc.) I already cut air holes in the mouth and head area, plus I also cut a bit of the top off of the eye holes for better vision. The web shooters I will be using will be Ken's web shooters that I used on my previous Spidey suit.
Big thank you to Ken for giving us these amazing free files!
