The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

does anyone know if I separated the file into blue brick, red brick, red spider and webs If I could screen print it onto red and blue lycra?
and for those of you looking for better printers citrus rain seems to have no white out effect unlike FOD I have a suit from both and my FOD suit goes really white whilst my Citrus Rain suit holds its colour really well

Ivwouldnt make it perfect. I mean i think its better when every part is smaller than my measures. Better having the suit tight than loose.

I dont use kens file cause i have a printed suit already. The problem i have is that the shoulders, back and chest is too small.

I think the length is not an issue. Its more the Width.

Hey all, I'm new here but have been lurking for a couple of years. Decided to print Ken's file since it was a freebie (Thanks Ken!). After reading through most of the instructions and going through the process, I can offer my experience. The sizing method may not be accurate. It may work well for some people but if you are on the upper end of a size, go with the next size up.

Example: I am 5'8", slim and fit. I measured my outfit from the eye line to the hips at 28" (good for 5' 5" to 5' 8" as suggested by the sizing guide). Well, suffice to say, it's too small. Also, I have big feet and big hands. Resizing the file made the feet section like 3 or 4 inches shorter in length to my feet length. Haven't checked the hands yet, though as I have not sewn that part yet.

My advice is to double check the image file you are planning to send to get printed. Take your own measurements and adjust the image accordingly such as extending or widening arms, legs, feet, etc.

I mean I can fit inside the suit but it is super snug! This suit would properly fit anyone who is 5' 4" to 5' 7" I would say.

Also, I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I am offering my suit for sale. I'll finish it by this weekend and you can probably get the suit by Halloween. I will ship USPS Priority since it's cheap, but if you want another service or expedited service, you'll have to pay for it. I puff painted the web lines (smudged a couple spots, nothing major, I can show you pics) and sewed the suit myself. This is my first sewing experience outside of a pillow I made in home ec class ages ago when I was in middle school. Don't expect perfection, but I think I did a really good job. All the webs pretty much line up.

Here are just a couple of photos I took last night. Sorry for the lack of photos. I only took a couple last night to view the progress on my body. I just decided this morning that I cannot force myself into this suit. I will take more photos of the sew job and post them tonight after more work. I just need to do the hands and arms and then attach it to the body. I also need to attach a zipper to the sides and lower back. The feet need to be sewn up and that's it.

Good job on the suit. But please be mindful when posting about selling something outside of the Junkyard. You can potentially get banned for doing this.

I wish i didnt get it from zentai-zentai, but it was my only option with my financial situation. I got decent lenses with them to for only 15$ but its nothing compared to some of the lenses sold by people on this sight. Really awesome suit though, i love the detail and everything that went into it. Next time im going to get it from F.O.D, a proper seamstress and better lenses.

I'm new to this Forum, I'm French, so in advance, sorry if my English ain't perfect. First of all I'd like to thank Kenlandrum a lot for offering his pattern, this is beyond awesome, plus this pattern looks truly amazing (no pun intended haha) so, Kenlandrum, thank you! I got a few advices and stuff to ask and I don't know if anyone will be able to help me but anyway here are my questions :

I've been thinking about ordering a costume, and making a faceshell and frames, lenses ect ect for a few months now. I was about to pay for a pattern off ebay when I found out about Kenlandrum's on this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6YA7-Vtx60 . I just love the "shiny aspect of the suit, the brick pattern ect, but I thought since I'd like to puffy paint it (I'll practice a lot before touching the actual suit), I thought the web lines on the pattern might not be THIN enough, if I puffy paint over the webbings of that pattern I will end up with web lines that I think will look way too large, the webbing on the suit of the film are pretty thin, is there any chance to have Kenlandrum's pattern with more thin webbing? I think, on this black suit the web lines are thin enough, any chance to have that kind of webbing on the red and blue suit? :

Also, about the mask, I found this over Ebay, I think the webbing is perfectly accurate (notice how close to the center of the mask the lines go), looks just like in the film, I'd looove to have that mask, does anyone think it could match Kenlandrum's suit? as for colors and webbing?

Third question : Please could anyone tell me where can I find the front and back spiders in latex to glue onto the suit?

Fourth question : Where could I get my suit printed and sewn for not too expensive (I'm looking for the same shiny effect as on the video)?

I know that's a lot of questions :/ I hope some of you will be able to help me :(

Oh by the way, if some of you would like to check it out here's the right frame from the ones I'm working on, it's in resin, if some of you wonder why there's some black paint over it, it's because I sprayed it and then noticed it needed to be polished more, so anyway I might sprayed it again soon, I got a nice black gloss spray here.

Hey, 88 pages and 2000+ posts means it's hard to find an answer to this question

Can this / does this need to be modified to allow for a U-zipper on the back, so that the back spider can be one solid entity?

U can install a u zipper. I guess all ppl here did it.
The back is splitted. If u want one back piece u will have to edit it on ur pc.
