Dark blue looks much better. Did (or anyone else) try grey or metallic silver?
BTW Thanks Arno for those pics it really helped.

I was also asking about the Black spider webs, are they Metallic Black on the movie suite or are they more of a Matte black?

i think the metal tip is more uniform flow.... and doesn't come out as thick and globbyIMG_3201.JPG here is a pic of my honeycomb on tasm1...

Dispense Tip

is what they are called they are very cheap and u can them as small as 0.21mm, I guess if the brick pattern on the blue parts is done with a very thin Dispense tip, then it would look like the movie suit. The brick pattern has to be very flatt so light that comes from all the direction is reflected.

I have a quick question guys, I want to have a removable mask for my suit. Is it going to be obvious that the mask is not attached to the suit of someone looks at the neck part? what's the best way to hide the removable mask part? How is it in the movie suit?

Is it beneficial if the mask has a zipper on the back? would it tighten up the mask on my face?

Yes it won't look as one piece. It will have crinkles/wrinkles.

hmm yes I see
What's about a semi removable mask? a zipper on the back of the mask where I can take my head out and hide it inside the suit (behind the neck and chest)

what you just said is a normal suit with a mask attached but in order to tuck it away you cannot have any lenses or shell and the bulge will probably be noticeable in front of your body,,.

Is there anyway to put an invisible zipper in the front of the neck? That way you could pull it back like in the movies. Or would that cause wrinkles like a separate mask?

let's just agree to disagree on this topic. i look at some of your lines and they made shadows that is thickness to me could just be the light..or my eyes are bad....i still think a tip is better then the bottle....

I can be wrong :)
And i thought u mean the thickness of the lines and not the (dont know how to call it) height of the paint :)
The more flat u get it on the fabric the better to get the movie effect. For me the paint did sink into the fabric when i tried to make it more flat. Tjats why i did it that way. Maybe that was due to the tip :)
U probably have more experience too ^^

Lets just say if someone can get a metal tip they shall get one. It can only be better or easier to use :)

the tip is more forgiving then using the bottle alone in my opinion...i only painted one tasm1 suit... so my experience is limited...i tried doing it your way and the flow is not easy to keep consistent plus i was uisng the full size bottles... the tips were a needed tool...
