The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

I dont think they can do it.

You have to change the pattern so they are able to do it.
You have to split the pants on those areas and add some so they can sew it.

And as i see it to be able to do so, you have to change the pattern alot.

Seperate the top from the pants. Then add area on the top and pants to sew them together later. And then split the pants on that area and add some to they can install te zippers there.

Oh ^^ seems not to be as stressful to do as i thought. Wasnt sure if u can cut in all visible layers at once :)

Its a good idea. Less stressful as i would have done it. Lol

I think that shozld work. She could cut out the crotch of the suit and leave some to install the zipper and then use the extra crotch.

I think that works :)

But yes. U should talk with the seamstress about it :)

Anybody printed a pair of soles yet, and then cast them in a "flexible" material? I am need of a pair size 11.5 or 12 US..

thanks so much for this work you have done Kenlandrum.

over the course of a few days i read through all of the pages and i think i may have found a 3d print solution for some people besides shapeways. there is a site called 3dhubs.com and its for local 3d printers in whatever area you live in. it seems like a company that started in Amsterdam, so im assuming it will help out people in Europe too. Anyways when i first tried to open the website it didnt work, so then i went to 3D Printing Trends | Top Printers, Materials & Manufacturers | 3D Hubs and that opened a different part of their site that worked fine and from their i just navigated back to the front page. hope that helps some of you out there. :)

Edit:mad:Kenlandrum i was checking out your website earlier today and just wanted to let you know when i click on any of the free files for ASM a page pops up that says the "file doesnt exist". im not sure if its my end, but i am using Firefox just help troubleshoot in case anyone else is having the same problems.

Hey I'm the new kid here, but can I literally take the updated file that you made (Revised 5-27-14 (reorganized pattern to fit "Fabric on Demand's" max width for Lycra of 58"- Also slightly more saturated colors to improve final print. All in CMYK and ready to upload.
jpg File:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_sNvgA37t6qZjlaN3VrdGdBbUU/edit?usp=sharing) and just print it from FoD? I'm not too familiar with photoshop and all this CMYK file stuff you guys are talking about lol. I just want to print a costume.

This thread is for anyone interested in putting together an Amazing Spider-man 2 suit or display.
I'm really liking the ASM2 suite, and since I have the basics already, well here we go.

Some things you can find here are links to:

--Sizable .psd file for Amazing Spider-man 2--
It will be available in layers, 3d webs, muscle shading, colors, bricks, etc, so you may edit it how you like and send it to print! (always splurge for that sample print first!)

*NOTE:If you decide to take the pattern, call it your own, alter it to a newer outfit, post it on eBay, whatever, do as you please.
I just hope that it mainly gets into the hands of the folks on this board!

Disclaimer: I have not printed this pattern for myself nor have I had a test swatch printed yet. When I do this, if the colors, sizing or web alignment need adjustment, I will upload a revised file. Until then, you are on your own.

--3D CAD or 3D Print files for all of the webbing/spiders--
The idea is to use this file to print and cast or Mill and cast. The web file is being sized to precisely fit the color pattern file, so what ever you do to one, just do it to the other! * It is up to you to re-size the spider files.

--3D Print files for face shell and snap in eyes--
Once again, you will be able to print and/or cast these.

Anyway, here's what I have so far...

**ALSO: DO NOT SEND full .psd files to places like "FABRIC ON DEMAND"!
The layered psd is for individuals to edit the work in any way they see fit. When submitting to "fabric on demand" please only send a flattened jpg version of the file in cmyk. The psd files are way too large for them and it might cost the customer more $$ because if this.

Regarding Sizing the Suit... check the link below... toward the end of the page.

Hi ken, can you make the pattern have a place can install zipper at arm just like in movie
So that i can put my webshooter at my arms

Huh, I forgot all about those. No one has asked until now. I guess because unlike the beveled webs on the raimi suit, these look to be done with puff paint or something of the sort.
I'll look into these when I get some time.
thanks for the reminder!

Hi
Did you figure it out? I think it's black with a thin layer of shiny and reflective puff paint (shiny clear puff paint???)
