The blue is a bit dark, to be honest I think I WILL be lightening the colours.
But now that your's is printed there's not much point starting over it again...
Yeah, please take a picture of it outside or something...

My worry by looking at this suit is that you can't see the brick pattern, but the photo isn't the best so I hope you can :)

I'll be puff-painting brick onto my blue! What colour do you think I should do... metallic blue, should I lighten that with some white?

HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE SIZE OF THE MODELS I HAVE HERE??
OK. I will explain how to remedy the situation.

I have built all of these parts in 3dsMax. My working units are millimeters. I then output stl and sometimes obj files for everyone and they are in millimeters as well.

For some reason SOME 3d print applications don't play well with 3dsMax when it comes to unit conversion. If you feel like the file you are about to print seems small, and I mean really small, simply run it through "Netfabb" and convert the units from "Inches to MM" I have no idea why netfabb thnks the file in in inches, but it, and other 3d print apps have this issue.

You may ask, why don't I just convert all of the file in netfabb and put those out there for everyone to download? Well, not everyone needs the file converted and it would be a cluster-f--k for me to try and keep track of which files are converted and which are not...

Here is a pic of how to do this conversion if you need it.... it's super simple and takes only seconds.

I also found when uploading these files to places like "Shapeways", when they ask "what units are the files?" You must select INCHES even though it is in MILLIMETERS.

Hope this helps.

I guess none of the companies has a shine like the tasm2 movie suit.
They used some kind of nylon spandex or something ^^ i didnt find an company that offers that. ......yet :)

Look at the 70's spiderman TV show. The red looks like its on a different material than Lycra and its pretty dark

kenlandrum, maybe, just a thought, to add your last two posts (unit convert, and resize) to the first post (entire or link to your posts on them? this way maybe get less requests on both items within the tread?
