HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE SIZE OF THE MODELS I HAVE HERE??
simply run it through "Netfabb" and convert the units from "Inches to MM" I have no idea why netfabb thnks the file in in inches, but it, and other 3d print apps have this issue.

You may ask, why don't I just convert all of the file in netfabb and put those out there for everyone to download? Well, not everyone needs the file converted and it would be a cluster-f--k for me to try and keep track of which files are converted and which are not...

Here is a pic of how to do this conversion if you need it.... it's super simple and takes only seconds.

I also found when uploading these files to places like "Shapeways", when they ask "what units are the files?" You must select INCHES even though it is in MILLIMETERS.

Hope this helps.
Ken

OK, so to reiterate what you said Ken...

On netfabb, we CONVERT UNITS from INCHES to MM

Then, when uploading to places like shapeways we select INCHES

I'm really sorry to restate something that is so obvious from what you just posted, it's just that back on page.... 33 you said "run in the models through netfabb and convert from mm to inches. All will be perfect". Because I tried that and the model went really tiny on my screen :O

So what you (and me) stated in bold is correct now :)?

I'm definately making this face mask, i dont have enough for tjacks :\

If the model seems small (way small) when you go to print on your personal printer, run it through netfabb and convert using the "Convert from Inches to MM" (SCALE UP)
If you have not run the model through netfabb and you are uploading to shapeways, make sure when it asks what UNITS you are using, select INCHES. (see Below)

This is correct now yes. I must have slipped up on page 33. I will go back and correct it.
Hope this clarifies things. Thanks.

Hi guys going on about sizes does everyone think the shooters are okay as they are to print or would you recommend re-size? Thanks

I'm using adobe photoshop elements editor and I can't figure out how to resize the file so that it fits me (5' 11"). If anyone can tell me how to resize the file that would be great!

it fits good on 6 ft you should be fine as is...

you are putting that on way to thick...... you should go with the black but smaller tip in my opinion....
