The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

:D i hope my doodles can be understood.
In the end the belt will works as a flap that is flapped over the zippers. By that way there can be free soace between the zipper to allow the fabric to stretch around the waist.

I think that makes sense, but you might need Velcro or something to make sure the belt doesn't flip up on you.

Could be. I hope that the curve and edge pf the belt keeps it stretched down.
But maybe i will install something just in case

...is anyone else having trouble opening the 03/31/14 ASM2 suit file? I'm getting some error message saying that there was a problem, and it can't be opened. Incidentally, I am trying to open it in Paint.NET with a .psd plugin...but the brick pattern .psd opened without a problem.

Here's the error I'm (still) having. Pretty basic.

Hi everyone,

First, thanks Kenlendrum for your truly amazing work.
I'm a big fan of spider-man since always, but i'm very new in the world of making spidey's suit :)

I have some questions about the faceshell:
You said it sized about 28,3cm, but my computer says about 11mm... Is there an error, or it's just me being a noob?
I resized the height around 21,5cm.

But my real question was, which material would you use? especially for the lenses?
I went on Makexyz, but the printers around me only make ABS or PLA Plastic (after search some research, it would appear I'll choose PLA Plastic, but what about the lenses?).

Do you print the lenses with the same printer as the faceshell?

And do you have tips for the magnets?

It's late, and I'm kinda lost...

Thanks for everything.

Printing the suit: Pending

Your best bet for the lenses is printing it in PLA and then smoothing it molding it and casting it. the transparent PLA isnt clear enough when printed to see through. Unless you order online with clear resin but that a bit high in price

Hey so, Ken. Are the webshooters designed as one single piece, or are they multiple pieces that you can take apart?
If they're a single piece, is there a way I (or you) could model it to be multiple pieces?

Thanks npoulos.
I'll go for clear resin, because I'd like to see through my lenses :) And becauseI re-read the old post from kenlandrum that I didn't understand at first, and it's seems to be a fine way to do the lenses.

For thoses who might be interested, as I was searching for transparent materials for printing, and I came up with t-glass (which seems quite appropriate) or photopolymere. But I think it might be an expensive way.

You are welcome to my 3dsmax files if you wanna sep it . Just PM me if you want it.

Sizing is usually due to a scale thing in max. Convert in netfabb as shown and all will be good...

USE photoshop. You can get a trial or find someone you know that has it... the newer version the better. I believe the file is too big for Paint.

Stupid question :) cant u just upload a pic of the movie suit to ir photoshop and them use the pipette tool or something on the red and blue and save the color of it in ur colors? Then u can just use that colors on ur pattern. By that way you get the exact same color or not?
I never used photoshop but with manga studio i can do it that way.

So many pixels to choose from.
Lighting changes.
Material shine.

Find a color you like and go with it... I think that's your best bet.

Hello all. Just got off the phone with fabric on demand and they asked me to remind folks out there getting their prints done to stop sending full .psd files to them.
The layered psd is for individuals to edit the work in any way they see fit. When submitting to fabric on demand though please only send a flattened jpg version of the file in cmyk. The psd files are way too large for them and it might cost the customer more $$ because if this.

Thank you.
