I used ken's pattern to switch out the colors to this, should i print it?

Hey. Great news for colors of the print. I was told about a compny in uk. They offer a print with all colors they have and the cmyk codes for them. They write If u give them a print and comment what cmyk u want it to be printed they can do it. So u can decide what color u want it to look printed which is awesome.
I ordered the print code and waot for answer of the company if they really can do it that way.
http://www.lsprints.co.uk/custom-printed-fabric-177-c.asp also i would go with the polyester-spandex and not with the lycra. They offer both.

Hey man, that website isn't working... Can you repost? Cheers

Hey Aron, have you got a price from them for the full print at all?

No. It says 23£ for a meter. So i guess it should be around 70£. But i dont know what it is in $.
Maybe i will upload a file to see how mucj it would cost.

When i can guess right it should be around the same as FOD.

Any ideas on the magnets for the lenses, im so anxious i wanna just glue my mask to the face shell, but id rather wait for a good idea to get the lenses magnetic to the faceshell

I would go with magnetic lenses. Cause after u put on the shell and mask u adjust the mask to make it right on the shell. And then there is glue between it will mess up all.

My gf is the best :)
She edits the pattern atm to make pants and top seperated and to be connected by 2 zippers, and still be stretchy around the waist :) so like the movie suit is.
Will be awesome.

That's awesome! It's exactly what I've been thinking about for a few days, I was curious why I wasn't seeing more suits designed this way.

Hadn't even considered that, can't wait to see how it turns out.

You don't see many of them because they require a Separating jacket type invisible zipper, which has to match the circumference of your waist exactly. These are very difficult to find in custom lengths and hard to install cleanly. MCL34N made a couple suits this way.

You also don't see that many because most patterns, this one included, are based on using the pelting layout of the Raimi suits, edited to fit a new surface texture instead of being designed as completely new patterns. The Raimi pelting layout doesn't allow for a waist zipper, and hence, neither do most patterns based on it.

What is the benefit of Polyester Spandex over the Lycra? Will the puff paint/Tulip pain still take effectively?

I'm close to deciding who is going to print the pattern I choose now, and want to know what is the best, longest lasting way to do this, as I'll probably only be able to get this suit together once.

My plan is to make 2 zippers and left like 4 inches free on the back and front so it stays strechy.
Then i edit the suit that the whole "belt" can be flipped over the zipper. If u look close on some pics of tje movie suit it looks like the front part of the belt is flipped over the blue pants too.
I will try it that works :)

Sorry in case i write too comfusing. I will try to put it on paper and post my idea.

belt_size_increase.png

I increased the belt size (front and back) as well as changed the red colors for my file. I turned off the muscle pattern like the other user did.
