When more of this suit is seen, I'd love a print! Been waiting for a more 'Spidey' look. Amazing was great, but this one looks more like what I was expecting.

I agree. The originality of TASM suit was a really nice take. It signified not only a reboot to the character, but also to the costume.
Looks way to much like the original now.

I'm disappointed, I thought the suit in TASM was cool, modern, very sleek, and it fitted with a more urban xtreme-sports vibe... For the life of me I cant understand why have they choosen to go back to the same Raimi look, except for the eyes, the make of the suit its identical, same raised web, same brick pattern... I think they have panicked because people didnt recognize the suit in the TASM as the one from Raimi's but I thought that was the point... (the untold story, a new take on the character, blah)
I'll have to wait to see the entire suit to see the line of the design, but this look like a step back to me.

Fortunately/unfortunately (depending on who you ask) it's most likely not a photoshop. The red "V" down the center is thinner, the webs are thinner, the blue brick pattern looks to have that puff paint look, and the spider is lower then the Raimi version.

yeah, but I do think its a concept and overall it will end up changing alot by the time the movie releases.

Damn it all... I was so hopeful about those eyes, but now they're ditching what made TASM's suit it's own stand alone. And although I can somewhat agree to the more traditional wed pattern (which I still think in the movie should be wild), the brick pattern of the Raimi one is just a no-go for me. Continuity people! Consistency in design!

Surely if they are starting to shoot in a few days/weeks, which they are, then the design side of things, including the costume, will be locked in.

I always wonder why the film makers choose to ignore the classic Spider-Man Costume.
They could utilise all the modern techniques the costume department has at its disposal, raised webbing, texture, muscle shading, but essentially remain faithful to the classic design.
Personally I feel it's infinitely better than any of the movie incarnations.
